A new version of the Clarity Act could drop as soon as next week, according to sources familiar with the negotiations. The updated bill merges efforts from both the Senate Banking and Agriculture Committees. But, the main sticking point remains unresolved. Senate Democrats want a provision barring senior government officials, including the president, from keeping business ties with the crypto sector. Without it, several key senators say they won't vote yes. The bill needs 60 votes to clear the Senate. Even the two Democrats who voted it out of committee have warned that they may not back the final version. Congress has roughly four weeks before the summer recess. After that, the window essentially closes for 2026
Robinhood's new blockchain processed over $568 million in a single day. Most of the activity was driven by meme coin trading.
Because Robinhood Chain was built on Arbitrum's tech stack, 10% of Net Protocol revenue flows back to the Arbitrum DAO. And Arb jumped 19%, making it the top-performing token in the top 100 over the past 24 hours.

And New Hampshire just killed what would have been the first-rated Bitcoin-backed bond issued by a state government. The state's executive council voted three to two to block the project at its final approval stage. The bond was tied to $100 million in financing for Bitcoin mining and data center firm ClearSpark. And Moody's had already given it a BA2 rating, two notches below investment grade. New Hampshire House Majority Leader Keith Ammon called the decision extremely short-sighted and says the effort isn't finished.
