UFC's Josh Hokit Says 'Michelle Obama Is A Man' In Crazy Octagon Interview

UFC Freedom 250, no.

**Deven** (0:32)
So you did, you caught UFC Freedom 250?

**Branson** (0:38)
So I had a lot going on yesterday, but I was scrolling on X constantly, so I would catch every highlight. My algo is dialed, dialed algorithm.

**Deven** (0:50)
A bunch of wrestling and a bunch of UFC.

**Branson** (0:52)
A bunch of wrestling and UFC, I got it all.

**Deven** (0:54)
Yeah, so obviously, biggest event, I would say of the weekend, regardless of the Knicks winning, congrats to the Knicks, but the event was just, it was a spectacle. And every fight ended in a knockout. I know there's been a lot of haters and people who are like, wow, this is so disrespectful to the office. It's a joke that they're having fights on the lawn. But if you just remove yourself from that, and just the visual of it, I mean, it was, the production was insane.

The flyover.

**Deven** (1:26)
The flyover, the fights were all insane. There was a massive upset at the end where an American fighter beat Ilya Toporio, which was like, he was like a huge underdog. So, I mean, the night had it all.

**Branson** (1:37)
Dana White, when that flyover happened, there was a closeup on his face where he's smiling.
Next to the president, and everyone was thinking like, Dana White really probably thought this is not really gonna happen. And then he's actually standing there. Standing there, it happened, delivered it.

**Deven** (1:53)
He delivered. So it was, I mean, I get the controversy surrounding it and them trying to be like, you know, this isn't political. Just as a spectator and of someone who loves watching the UFC and fighting and stuff, I thought that it was a home run. I thought it was a 10 out of 10
The one gripe I did have, well, first of all, there was all those concerns about the weather and it looked beautiful there.

And mosquitoes, don't forget the mosquitoes.

**Deven** (2:16)
Yeah, and the bugs, but it looked fine. I mean, just the scenes of them walking from the White House to the Octagon were awesome. I don't know, I thought it was a really cool event. The only gripe I had was that it took way too long between fights.

Yeah, it was just the pacing of it. Usually, UFC's really good at just fight, fight, fight. They had so much different stuff in logistics that there was so much time in between each of the fights.
A lot of ads. I had to get to bed last night. But I did stay up and I watched it all. That was all my positive spin on how I thought the actual event was. There was, of course, some controversy. We have to address this because it was probably the most controversial moment from last night. For those who don't know, Josh Hokit, he's an up and coming UFC fighter. He's going to be a big star.
He actually was a former football player. He looks like it. Yeah, he played football for Fresno State, and then he was on the Niners for a minute, played fullback. He's now in the UFC, and he's just shot up the standings. He actually was a late addition to this card. He wasn't even originally supposed to fight, and then he had a previous fight where it was so incredible that they put him on the card.

But he dominated.

**Deven** (3:40)
Dominated, why am I forgetting his name? I'm forgetting his name as well. Lewis, the Black Beast. I'm trying to think of what, Derrick Lewis. So he absolutely destroyed Derrick Lewis, which I think most people thought. He's much younger, he's much quicker. Derrick Lewis is kind of at the end of his career. But this is what he did when he got the mic after his big win over Derrick Lewis.

And lastly, Michelle Obama is a man! Am I right, America?

So out of pocket and so random, huh?

**Deven** (4:20)
Yeah, I mean, so the problem is obviously, I don't even get what the hell this man's talking about. And clearly, so his biggest issue is that, first of all, that was just an absurd comment to make, but he said similar stuff like this in the past. I think he said this exact line, but the difference was it was at the UFC apex where there's no one watching and this was on a world stage where everyone's watching.
