I feel like my relationship with money has changed a lot as I've gotten older. It mostly used to be about, am I paying my bills and putting some money away? Now there are so many moving pieces and competing priorities, so I wanna feel like I know exactly where I stand, not just hope that everything's okay. So that's what I like about Monarch. Having our accounts, investments, savings goals, and spending all in one place, it gives me a much clearer picture. There have definitely been months where I've looked at our spending breakdown and thought, wait, we spent that much on that? Seeing it all laid out makes those patterns really obvious. I also love Monarch's AI assistant. I can just ask questions about my finances instead of digging through transactions myself. It definitely takes some of the mental load out of managing money and helps me feel like we actually know where we stand. So write your own money story with Monarch. Use the code MoNews at monarch.com to get your first year of Monarch Core half off at just $50, that is 50 percent off your first year at monarch.com, code MoNews.

All right, everybody, between daily podcast recordings, managing MoNews, workouts, life with a newborn and a toddler, I have learned that drinking water isn't always enough. When I'm dragging, dealing with brain fog or feel a headache coming on, sometimes what I really need is electrolytes. That's why we have partnered for a long time with Element Electrolyte Powder. Each pack delivers a meaningful dose of electrolytes with zero sugar, no artificial colors, and none of the dodgy ingredients found in many popular sports drinks. My go-to flavors are lemonade and grapefruit salt, though they have a whole variety available for all of you. Right now, MoNews listeners can get a free eight-count sample pack of Element's most popular drink mix flavors, so you can figure out which one is your favorite. They also have a flavorless pack, by the way. You can find that all over at drinklmnt.com/monews, that is drinklmnt.com/monews, drinklmnt.com/monews.

We've heard from so many of you who have made this a regular part of your life. Let us know about your Element experience and your favorite flavor. This will change the way you think about hydration. Again, go out and get that special MoNews deal over at drinklmnt.com/monews.

All right, Moshe, let's get to some headlines, starting with a possible case of mnemonic plague in Russia. Secretary of State Marco Rubio says, nothing to panic about, but still US officials say Russia needs to stop being so secretive about what happened.

Mosheh Oinounou (3:43)

Yeah, part of the concern here people have is, is it the plague? Is it not the plague? Is it something the Russians are trying to hide from all of us? But we'll talk about if it is the plague, what we should know about it and what you should be concerned about, and what you shouldn't be concerned about.

To the Cornell rape investigation, a recording of a phone call that Jane Doe made to one of her alleged attackers the night before she went to police. We've got that audio. The new Supreme Court term kicked off on Monday. Justices appeared divided by a climate change case.
