Mosheh, something we're watching this week, the Robots Olympics in China. More than 2,000 humanoid robots are participating. So these are basically human-shaped robots, will be competing in sports and real-life challenges. Things like assembling power tools, conducting fire rescues and charging an EV. It feels like this is something they should just be doing on the factory floor. Why are we watching this?

China has a lot to show off, Jill, when it comes to their humanoid robots. And like the Olympics, this takes place over multiple days. This is actually a five-day event now in its second year. And China wants to show how much progress it's making. There are 51 events, including running, table tennis, soccer, a whole number of sports. You're used to watching humans compete in. Ultimately here, these are humanoid robots. Some have done very well. There was the robot that has now broken the record for the 100 meter that was set by Usain Bolt, human Usain Bolt. The robot beat him, running at about just under 28 miles per hour.
Then there was the other robot, Jill, that got a lot of attention on our Instagram account that ran really, really fast. I mean, like this is 28 miles per hour for a robot and then crashed into a wall and broke. People had some schadenfreude. I really enjoyed that on the Instagram feed.

I admittedly did. I'm included in that.

**Mosheh Oinounou** (1:41)
But to many of your questions on Instagram, why are we doing this? I don't know. This seems like this could end poorly between AI and these really fast robots, Jill. But in the meantime, let's see how well we can develop technology before they control us.

When the end of the world comes, we'll remember this moment as one of the steps that got us there.

The robots will save us. It will be like, thank God for that really fast robot before it crashes into the wall and breaks itself.

That is the glass half full. All right, let's get to the headlines here. A trade war with Canada.
50% tariffs on Canadian goods went into effect at midnight Saturday after talks fell apart. Now Canada says they'll retaliate. Dollar for dollar. We'll tell you when.

We thought there was a deal. There is no deal. And some stern words from the Canadian Prime Minister for President Trump.

Some fast moving wildfires in Nevada has forced the evacuation of thousands of people near Reno, Nevada.

**Mosheh Oinounou** (2:39)
Yeah, we're talking about upwards of 90,000 people have had to leave their homes. What comes is the federal government is coping with the aftermath of the drought conditions out west. We'll tell you about what's happening with the Colorado River and which states are about to get some major water cuts.

A big weekend for President Trump in Washington, DC. The Supreme Court said he can continue construction of his White House ballroom for now.

It also came as he got to do a lap around the IndyCar track. As DC hosted an IndyCar race around some of the major monuments there. We'll tell you about the Grand Prix 250

There's a new investigation alleging thousands of federally protected wild horses are being sold through a legal loophole and it could be sending them to slaughter.

We'll give you a reality check on the wild horse situation out west. We got some interesting notes about that over the weekend, Jill.

Thousands across northern Indiana are still without power nearly two weeks after storms hit the region with hurricane force winds. A scary situation on an American Airlines flight in Dallas, one passenger's laptop burst into flames, sending smoke through the cabin. Why fires like this are happening more often and how regulators have already changed what is allowed on board. And baby boomers are embracing marijuana in record numbers, but not everyone is mellow about it.

From retirement communities to condo buildings, cannabis, the latest neighborhood feud for the boomers, retirees. Well, also some interesting numbers on peer pressure. How many boomers are using cannabis because, well, the other people are as well and they feel pressure.
