Welcome to The TMZ Podcast. Deven here with Courtney. Hello. What's going on?

Courtney (0:13)

Oh, you know, here.

Deven (0:15)

You know, just the president talking about that I-

Courtney (0:18)

Blowing us up.

Deven (0:19)

I ran Can Blow Up Los Angeles, the place that we live.

Courtney (0:22)

I know.

Deven (0:23)

What a great-

Courtney (0:23)

What a great guy.

Deven (0:24)

What a great video to wake up to.

Courtney (0:26)

Yes.

Deven (0:28)

So, we will get into that. Trump was at a rally in, was this somewhere?

Courtney (0:32)

Nebraska.

Deven (0:33)

Nebraska, somewhere in the middle of the country.

Yeah, we'll just play the clip once we get there. And then, we now know more information about a very famous law firm that is taking on, representing one of the Cornell Fraternity Brothers, that has a celebrity connection. So, we will get into that. And lastly, we'll finally end on a little bit of a lighter note for once. Thank goodness. Because it's been a pretty heavy week so far. And we, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey, celebrating his 37th birthday.

Courtney (1:07)

I love it.

Deven (1:08)

I have some questions, though.

Courtney (1:10)

Okay, I'll be ready for them.

What do you mean? They just, yes. They're not on a buy yet.

Deven (1:15)

What are they doing in New York? All right, let's-

Courtney (1:16)

He lives in New York.

Deven (1:18)

Yeah, what's he doing in New York?

Courtney (1:19)

He's seeing his girlfriend.

Deven (1:20)

Okay.

Courtney (1:21)

Or wife. Oh my God.

Deven (1:25)

Now, my papers are all messed up, so give me one second. All right, here we go.

So President Trump, so this was everywhere last night. Very shocking, especially if you live in the city of San Diego or Los Angeles.

Courtney (1:39)

Yeah.

Deven (1:39)

So Trump was at a rally in Nebraska, as we mentioned, and he was talking about gas prices and, you know, basically, citizens will have to pay a little more.

Courtney (1:51)

Pay a little more? I paid $6.79 for gas. It's crazy.

Deven (1:55)

It is crazy. The place that usually is pretty cheap by my house is $7 currently.

Courtney (2:01)

Yeah, it's ridiculous.

Deven (2:03)

So anyways, let's just play the clip. Let's just play the clip.

SPEAKER_3 (2:06)

I want to see a tremendous victory. You want to see a tremendous victory, because it verifies all the things we did. And again, remember, with the war, it's just artificial. It's a little bit high. It's a small price to pay for keeping the world safe, keeping our country safe. You can take out a city.

Let him take out Los Angeles. Let him take out San Diego.

This is a very small price to pay. And it's gonna be over very soon. It's essentially almost over with. And they might keep going a little long. They always say they have a big threshold for pain. They need it, let me tell you. They need it. But it's gonna end very soon. And it'll end one way or the other. And your gas and your gasoline and all of the things.

Deven (2:49)

It's just a very small price to pay. One of the biggest cities in our entire time.

Courtney (2:53)

Well, A, it's just rude. He's our president.

Deven (2:55)

I know that we don't have to light up. I think it's a little more than rude.

Courtney (2:57)

It's dangerous. It's very dangerous. It's obnoxious. But it's like, so who are you the president for? Because clearly you're not the president for United States of America, because you just named two massive cities. And by the way, there's a massive naval base in San Diego.

Deven (3:08)

Well, yeah, that's what a lot of people are talking about.

Courtney (3:10)

Yeah, and then maybe Seals train there. So what the hell are you talking about? It's just so, he's so out of control.

Deven (3:15)

And even more so than that, they're two massive cities with a huge population. Obviously, Mayor Bass spoke out about it. The Mayor of San Diego spoke out about it. Everyone's pretty disgusted.

Courtney (3:27)

Yeah.

Deven (3:28)

I mean, just at this point, it hits a little close to home because this is where we live.

Courtney (3:33)

Yeah.

Deven (3:35)

But it's also just like at this point, nothing really stops you.

Courtney (3:38)

It doesn't, but if you don't want us, don't take my tax dollars. I'll be happy to keep those if you don't want it. Leave us alone.

Deven (3:44)

Yeah. So the San Diego mayor, shout out to Todd Gloria, said, San Diego is not collateral damage. We're not expendable and we are never a small price to pay. Keep our city out of your reckless war talk.
