We're somewhere almost here, so many of us are thinking about family travel, getting away for a bit, but you also want to make sure, given how expensive things are, that you are budgeting accordingly. One way to get your finances organized ahead of this busy season, and frankly, all year round is with the Monarch Money app. Monarch is a personal finance app that tracks everything, accounts, investments, savings goals, and spending. You can get your first year of Monarch Core for half off, just $50, with the promo code MoNews. What I like about Monarch, we've been using this for a while in my house, it keeps everything in one place. You're not bouncing between various financial apps. You can track your investments, you can track your banking, you can track your credit cards. It also has a weekly AI recap that's been very useful that flags spending spikes, shifts in net worth, and upcoming expenses before they sneak up on you. And that's probably the biggest thing for me and for so many of us is taking that mental load off. And that's something Monarch does. It feels less like reacting after money is gone and more like planning ahead. It's a real financial advisor in your pocket. So you can use the code MoNews at monarch.com to get your first year off of Monarch Corp, half off at just $50.
Again, that's 50% off your first year at monarch.com with the code MoNews.

OK, starting with the war in Iran, President Trump says, We've got a deal. The president on Thursday afternoon said that he was canceling impending strikes on Iran and potentially a plan to attack Iran's Karg island. That is Iran's oil infrastructure hub. About 90% of Iran's oil exports passed through the island. But the president again, saying that those strikes are not happening. That is quote, Based on the fact that discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran have been brought to the highest level of Iranian leadership and approved. So that was Thursday afternoon. And then a few hours later, the president provided some additional details. Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, he said the plan had been approved by Iran's supreme leader, who by the way, still has not been seen or heard from publicly since the war began at the end of February. And since he was elected the new leader. As for what is in the deal, Trump says that the Strait of Hormuz would open immediately once it is signed. He says the US would lift its blockade of Iranian ports and that the Iranians have agreed at least conceptually not to have a nuclear weapon. Now again, this isn't the first time that the president has said we are days away from a deal. The New York Post said that they actually counted 37 times prior to Thursday when the president said a deal was close.
