Hello, hello. Hi, gang. Today is Monday. It's the 13th of July, 2026 A lot of voting yesterday, a lot of voting yesterday, but perhaps a bit misunderstood on the Sunday poll question. 33,273. Should members of Congress be required to publicly disclose health conditions that affect their ability to serve? 93.76% of us said yes, 6.24% said no. Why do I say maybe misunderstood? After the dispatch of the newsletter, it was a little uncomfortable as I looked at it because by now, the lead story was the passing of Lindsey Graham. And I hoped that people wouldn't look at the poll question and think that it was a reflection of his passing because actually it was a reflection of Mitch McConnell and of Representative Tom Kane Jr. You know, those two illnesses are what I had on the brain. The poll question got posted on Sunday morning before the news of Lindsey Graham's passing was public. So there you go. Let me just take a quick peek at what else we have done recently. Oh, the Saturday poll question, 47,782.
Is being a Democratic Socialist an asset or liability to winning the Democratic nomination in 2028? Making abundantly clear, I wasn't saying asset or liability in being elected president. That's a poll question for a different day. But this arose from my conversation on CNN Saturday with Tad Devine, who will be a radio guest today in the third hour of the program. I'm really looking forward to having him here because although we spent, I don't know, seven minutes on CNN, I want to have a deeper, longer interview with him.
