It's, I don't actually have the words to describe it to you, but basically they, it's like this couple and they get lost in the rain. Their car breaks down. They go into this like eclectic castle of sorts. This evil doctor, Frankenfurter, played by Tim Curry, genderly ambiguous, but incredibly sexy, kind of like meets them there. And then he builds this monster, Rocky.
It's like a sexual rock opera satire Broadway musical horror movie.

Gotcha. And I read that it wasn't popular immediately.

It wasn't.

It became a cult classic later on.
Okay. Got you. Well, we're here just to talk and celebrate the life of Tim Curry. We're also going to speak a little bit about some tributes to Dolly Parton that have come out. The biggest one for me being Miley Cyrus.

So and that's how I was introduced to Dolly Parton was through Hannah Montana. Yeah. Like a lot of us young people, right? So we'll go through through that statement that she gave. But starting off with Tim Curry dead at 80 years old, I mean, what a life though. He seriously lived through five decades in the film industry, starting in the early 60s, famous for Annie.

Probably the scarier adaptation in my opinion.
The one in the 90s was Freaky. Adam's Family Reunion. Adam's Family Reunion. I mean, he had close to 250 credits in film and TV. Holy crap. Emmy nomination, two Tony.

But like something that people really liked about him was one, his comedic timing, and two, his voice.

**Talia Block** (2:53)
I was just about to say he had the best range of voices from like comedic to scary to serious to like goofy. He just could do it all.

**Branson Quirk** (3:03)
Right. And as we had reported, we learned through law enforcement that he had died in his Los Angeles home. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The LA Fire Department responded to his home on Tuesday night for a death investigation. We don't know exactly the cause of death just yet, but he had been dealing with health issues for some time.

He had a big stroke in 2012 and like needed surgery.

**Branson Quirk** (3:25)
Brain surgery.

**Talia Block** (3:26)
Yeah, he was really, really had a lot of complications.

**Branson Quirk** (3:30)
Yeah, and he was confined to a wheelchair for some time as well, but that didn't stop him. And quite literally, he is in another movie coming out called Stream to Sudden Death where he's playing the role of Lockwood.

Don't know what that entails, but when we actually caught him out in 2017, that was the last time we spoke. We actually spoke with him. We talked to him about the It Clown and that how a lot of people thought that the new It Clown was sexy.

Yeah, Bill Skarsgård.

Bill Skarsgård, which people love him. Exactly. So you were one of those people back then.

But I also think Tim Curry is sexy.

So there you go. Well, he said it would have been nice if people thought that I was sexy back in 1990 for the It Clown, but I don't think he was in that role. I mean, those, both of them are not sexy. They're clowns.
