Lundgren says the success felt huge, but it also froze him in place and made private trauma harder to ignore. That trauma kept showing up in destructive habits, escape behavior, and unstable relationships.
What changed things? Lundgren says therapy and meditation slowly shifted that pattern, helping him understand that, as he puts it, "Hurt people hurt people." He also describes how speaking openly about his father on Swedish radio changed public perception of him. More importantly, it changed his relationship with his children.
