Bitcoin briefly rose in Asian morning hours after New York Fed President John Williams said he sees no need for further rate hikes in 2027 Comments weakened the dollar and lifted stocks across Asia. Williams did say one more hike this year may be appropriate, but CME's FedWatch tool puts the odds of rates holding steady at just 0.8% and a single additional hike at 7.1%, with most traders betting on more. Ripple is bringing wallet technology to the XRP ledger, letting apps and AI agents create accounts, hold crypto, and make payments without users managing their own software. The timing tracks the surge in agent activity. Ripple says the network has already processed more than 13 million agent payments through the X402 standard, roughly 25% of all ledger activity. And Standard Chartered has launched a crypto trading service for wealthy clients in the United Arab Emirates. The bank calls it the first offering of its kind from an international bank in the UAE, and it's first time offering crypto trading directly to affluent clients in any market.
