Funny enough, Avery, my husband, is the picky one in our house when it comes to bedding. So when he said, completely unprompted, this is a true story, the other day, I love these sheets and this comforter, I laughed and I said, do you want to join me for the Bowlen Branch ad? We have the Bowlen Branch sheets and comforter, and the moment you get into bed, you notice the difference. The sheets are incredibly soft, and the whole bed feels cozy without feeling heavy or stuffy, which is especially nice this time of year. I want added layers, but I still want to be comfortable throughout the night. Avery runs like a furnace, so I like that their organic cotton sheets are woven for airflow, so they feel breathable as well as soft. Also, hotels have those comforters that are a little bit crispy cotton. The comforter we have from Bowlen Branch is that crispy comforter. It's the comforter I've always wanted, like the comforter of my dreams, but I didn't know how to describe it, so I'm so happy I found Bowlen Branch, and so happy I got to try out this comforter. It's amazing. Anyway, upgrade your sleep with Bowlen Branch. Get 15% off your first order plus free shipping at bowlenbranch.com/docket with code docket. That's bowlenbranch, B-O-L-L-A-N-D, branch.com/docket, code docket to unlock 15% off. Exclusions apply.
Angela Angotti (1:19)
If that is true, why is he going after...
Cesie Alvarez (1:22)
Because he's mad that she's not staying home. Oh, literally the wrong bird to try and keep in a cage.
Angela Angotti (1:29)
Stick with the ladies, Porsha. These men are terrible.
Cesie Alvarez (1:32)
Welcome to The Bravo Docket. We're your favorite reality TV drama meets the courtroom. I'm Cesie.
Angela Angotti (1:38)
And I'm Angela. And we're two attorneys with a passion for pop culture here to dive into the juiciest lawsuits and legal battles in the world of reality TV.
Cesie Alvarez (1:46)
Whether you're here for the facts, fun, or just some law 101, let's get into today's case.
Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the Bravo Docket. We are going to dive into Porsha's various lawsuits involving her exes, Kordell, and then Simon, which this has been on my list for about a year and a half now, because it just seemed like such a major legal issue.
I know there was a pretty contentious divorce between them. There was a deportation. He's got an interesting history that Simon, and then a defamation lawsuit. We are going to get into it all. But yeah, it just took us a while to get to because there were so many moving parts. I felt like it needed a full dedicated week to research, so I'm glad we did that. Yeah. This is along with our series on the Ultimate Girls Trip, Housewives. Obviously, Porsha is on it representing Atlanta.
Angela Angotti (2:43)
She's just so much fun on that show. I think she is much better in ensemble cast.
But I feel like Porsha is one of the Housewives that she's just gotten better at it throughout time. She just keeps getting better, and she is just so stunning, and she's so clever and charming. From where she started out to where she is now, I mean, she's just really become so clever and charming, and she's a top tier Housewife.
Cesie Alvarez (3:08)
Yeah. She really reversed from her first season. When she came on her first season, she was such a Housewife. She didn't want to go to the strip club when they were out celebrating. I think it was like a bachelorette party, maybe for candy. In Vegas, she just refused to go to the strip clubs. She was like, I have to get Kordell's permission. And now that Porsha is not the same Porsha at all. Today's Porsha would never ask for permission to go to a strip club.
Angela Angotti (3:32)
Never at all.
Cesie Alvarez (3:34)
I think she's one of the Housewives that grew the most since her first season, for the better, for sure.
Angela Angotti (3:39)
Yep.
Cesie Alvarez (3:39)
Housewives really saved her, I want to say.
Angela Angotti (3:41)
Well, you also watch her trajectory of, like you said, the first season we saw her, it looked like she had very, or was trying to have very sort of trad wife values, where she's like, my husband is the leader of the household and I do what he says and yeah, I don't go to strip clubs and blah, blah, blah. And now she is not letting a man get in her way of anything ever again. And I love that for her.
Cesie Alvarez (4:02)
She's come a long way for sure.
