Hey, true crime besties. Welcome back to an all-new episode of Serialously.

Hello, hello, hello, and welcome back to an all-new episode of Serialously with me, your host, Annie Elise. Happy Monday. I hope you had a fantastic weekend. I hope you are having a good start to your week, although like I love to say, I'm probably about to ruin that for you because once again, we have some sick and twisted-ass shit to talk about today.

And look, I wasn't sure if I was going to do an episode on this case, or I should say a deeper dive into this case, but there is not only so much more information that has been released, but so much more twisted information that is truly unfathomable. As soon as I think that it can't get any worse, it somehow does get worse. And in the most diabolical, twisted, hills have eyes type of way.

Now, back in the end of August, I had released a deep dive into the RC and Eugene Horsch situation, that whole case, also known in the media as the Philadelphia House of Horrors, or the Philly House of Horrors. However, since then, as I said, there have been some major developments, including the police now linking seven missing women to this house. Potential ties to a man we have talked about on this podcast before too, Jonathan Gerlach, a man who is accused of stealing and selling over 100 bodies from Pennsylvania cemeteries. And, I mean, here's where my mind is so blown, okay?

When I first did the deep dive back in August, we were hearing from law enforcement that this may be the biggest serial killer case in recent history.

And at first, I was kind of like, okay, maybe, but it kind of also feels like it's giving Lady Bird Lake or one of those situations where not to diminish that at all. I definitely do think there is some weird serial killer shit going on there, but where I was like, is it going to be proven? Is it real? Is this just a catchy headline people are using, trying to capture attention?

No, it is, I legit think, probably true, one of the biggest serial killer cases, if not the biggest, in our lifetime. Truly, I believe that, because like I said, not only have police now linked seven missing women to the home belonging to RC and Eugene Horsch, a father and son duo that legit do look like they came out of the hills have eyes, but they found earns there, chemical drums in the basement, the backstory is enough to send a chill down your spine of how they were potentially obtaining their victims. It is sick.

So, that brings me to today and why I'm doing this new episode, because now that so many details and so much information has come out, there is this new renewed sense of interest in the case, or not even new, like not renewed, that's probably the wrong word to describe it. But so many people who hadn't heard about the case even back in August when it first broke that now we're hearing these new updates and they're like, whoa, what is going on here? What's the story? What's happening here? I want to catch up. So, I figured I will walk you through the updated timeline. I'm going to break down everything that we have learned since that original deep dive, which don't worry, if you have not listened to that deep dive, I'm going to give you a quick recap, but also we'll link that deep dive for you below. But, and I'll give you all the background that you really need to understand just so that you know and can fully see how big these new developments are. So, don't worry, it's not like you're going to be getting dropped into the middle of a story right now. I'm going to let you know what you need to know, but if you want the full crazy detailed deep dive, I will link that in the show notes for you as well. But let's start with giving you some background on these two pieces of shit, okay? To begin with, I want to give you background information on not only the father Raymond RC Horsch and all of this, but his deluded son Eugene Horsch. Now, let's start with RC.
