Welcome back to The TMZ Podcast. I'm Alexa Klohn, and we have a very special guest today. If you've been watching Perfect Match Season 4 on Netflix, you will know her very well. Natalie Cruz, welcome to the podcast.

Hi, thanks for having me.

Thanks for being on. This season, I feel like, was so messy, and it continues to get even more dramatic, even though this season has wrapped. So we'll definitely get into all of the drama. But just want to ask, what have you been up to? I know you were featured in Miami Swim Week, too. What was that like?

**Natalie Cruz** (1:10)
Yes, I just finished Miami Swim Week, which last year was my first year doing it, and it was literally a dream come true. So to do it again this year, it was so amazing. I also did a bunch of events and stuff, which last year I didn't have as much time for events. So I just feel like this year, I did the whole encompassing thing, which I didn't really know to do last year. So it was a blast. I love it. I love Miami in general.

**Alexa Klohn** (1:33)
You looked gorge. How do you prepare for something like that? Do you prepare your walk? Do you practice it? Is there a strict diet that you have to do? I mean, you looked amazing. So what are the secrets?

**Natalie Cruz** (1:44)
I feel like I always stay pretty locked into the gym. At least I try to, but I try six weeks before to really, really lock in and eat whole foods. I'm not really strict on any diet or anything, but I like to eat whole foods, work out at least five, six times a week and spray tan.

**Alexa Klohn** (2:01)
Oh, spray tan, all these else.

**Natalie Cruz** (2:03)
Hair, nails, spray tan, yeah, like all the things.

Well, love that for you. You looked incredible and it was so fun. Let's get back to Perfect Match. I mean, this season was so messy, so fun. And it was, I just feel like the gift that just kept on giving.
So there were a lot of allegations that came out after the season. Lots of cheating, lots of having boyfriends and such, but specifically speaking about you and Yeaman, how did your guys' relationship kind of fizzle out after the show was filmed?

**Natalie Cruz** (2:37)
With Yeaman, we were friends like before the show because we both did our first show, Temptation Islands, together.
And then after the show, we had made plans to see each other and that didn't really happen. He lives in LA. I lived in Arizona at the time, which wasn't too far, but I was traveling a lot after, so was he. And so we just didn't really see each other and we never saw each other after the show, but we had ended on fine terms.

**Alexa Klohn** (3:02)
Okay, so nothing, no bad blood, nothing blew up.

**Natalie Cruz** (3:05)
It was like we were friends, and then we were kind of seeing what could happen, and then we went back to being friends, and now we don't really talk at all.

**Alexa Klohn** (3:13)
Gotcha, but that was just a natural thing that kind of happened.

**Natalie Cruz** (3:15)
Yeah, it wasn't anything crazy with us, yeah.

**Alexa Klohn** (3:18)
Okay, love. So you've said that you went on to then later date Chris.

**Natalie Cruz** (3:23)
I did.

**Alexa Klohn** (3:24)
And how did that come about? I'm so curious because was there a connection on the show that maybe you guys didn't get to explore fully, or was it something that happened afterwards?

**Natalie Cruz** (3:35)
It was honestly kind of surprising with Chris, because on the show he was eliminated so fast that we were good friends. I felt like we had really good conversations right off the bat. I definitely felt like I connected with him, but very platonically, and then he wasn't even in the house after. He was the first couple to get eliminated. I had talked to him at the mixer a little bit, kind of as friends again, nothing romantic.
