So we got a few stories today. We are going to dive into the Nolan Wells investigation. Ben Crump made a ground breaking announcement today of a second autopsy result, and he went through them detail by detail that the death was undetermined.

**Eric Wilson** (1:08)
Yeah, this is interesting because it's an independent autopsy, and Colin Kaepernick actually paid for the independent autopsy. So that's pretty interesting, I think. But can we go through the findings?

**Branson Quirk** (1:20)
Sure. So we actually had Ben Crump on TMZ Live today.
He is the attorney representing the Nolan Wells family, and he's been very passionate about how this could have been foul play, and that he's not ruling it out whatsoever. Crump said that the manner of death remains undetermined pending further investigation.
He said that examining Nolan's throat, lungs, and the original autopsy photos could help answer major questions about the case, and he's calling for transparency from officials who had promised information regarding the investigation and obviously someone that drowns in water, there could be a lot of factors on the body where it's hidden from plain sight in terms of bruising and things like that, foul play.

**Eric Wilson** (2:08)
I think what he's getting at and why they're making such a big deal about this, because obviously no foul play has been reported yet or anything like that. But historically, in states like Mississippi, when somebody of color is hanging out with a bunch of white people and they miraculously die, historically, in a lot of cases down south, it's been swept under the rug to get these white people off. So we're not saying and nobody even knows if that's the case here, but why they're so adamant about getting these details is because of instances like that in the past and historically, how this has happened, and they want to make sure it doesn't happen in this case.

And there's a potential head injury that he brought up during the press conference saying that the independent autopsy found a red discolorization on the back of Nolan's head that could indicate a possible injury.
This could be a number of things, so we're not saying it's a head injury, but it could have been a pool of blood because of the way that the head was resting on something at the time, because it was a couple days before they found his body. No details on when he died or how long it had been.

Yeah, Nolan saw him after 4.3 on July 4th.

**Branson Quirk** (3:19)
Right, right. Gosh. And there's so many people on this island, you think that someone knows something. So Ben...

**Eric Wilson** (3:24)
He has to know something. If he was on a boat with his friends, I mean, we don't even know at what point he disappeared from the boat, right?

So like somebody had to have seen something, obviously his people who he was with have lawyered up apparently, right?

**Branson Quirk** (3:37)
Yeah.

So I mean, somebody has to see something. And it could be just an instance where like he, they were all drunk, he did fall off the boat, they were all drunk, didn't know what to do, so they just went to shore and...
