I just saw a tweet before I came out here that it's like, here, let me, did you see that Buffalo video from over the weekend? It was like, it's a screenshot of that guy getting flung, and it's like Monday again. That's literally kind of how I feel right now.

That's really funny, but that guy did it again.

**Deven** (1:05)
Dude, that guy got tossed.
Yeah, I watched that video way too many times. Because it's like, when he's getting chased, I'm like, okay, he's going to get run over, and then he gets cartoonishly thrown.

And cars try to help to intervene.

So we finally got proof of life of Mitch McConnell over the weekend, and now people have more questions.

**Courtney** (1:36)
Of course they do.

Of course now there's new conspiracies.

**Courtney** (1:38)
We said on Friday he couldn't be able to win.

**Deven** (1:40)
Yeah, exactly. Now people are, yeah, they have more questions somehow. So we will talk about that. Sad news. It's always sad news when someone passes away. Lindsey Graham passed away over the weekend, another DC story.
And a comedian went on TikTok and did a very tasteless post.

Yeah. Can't get behind that one.

**Deven** (2:05)
No, no, no, no, no. And then lastly, I mean, this is like a lot of death and destruction today, but a legend, we woke up this morning to a legendary actor, Sam Neill.

**Courtney** (2:16)
I know, Jurassic Park.

**Deven** (2:17)
Yeah, passed away at 78 in Australia. So really sad news and probably the biggest story this morning that I've seen. So yeah, we will talk a little bit about Sam.

Yeah.

Okay. So Mitch McConnell, everyone knows the background by now. No one had seen from him.
Everyone knows he's in the hospital. People wanted proof of life. People, there's rumors going around. He's on.

**Courtney** (2:43)
He's a vegetable.

**Deven** (2:44)
Yeah, he's on life support. So then we got a spy.
Right. Because she was like in China during while this is going on, which to me makes me think that it's not as serious as people were thinking.

**Courtney** (2:57)
It was very sudden.

**Deven** (2:58)
Yeah. So anyways, they finally released a press release over the weekend. And in it, they said he basically suffered a serious fall. He didn't have any broken bones. There was no heart attack, no stroke, no tumors, no hemorrhages. He basically briefly lost consciousness and was hospitalized and then had some pneumonia. But that wasn't what people were talking about. People, of course, are talking about the proof of life photo of him and his Mitch and his wife in the hospital.
He looks good in the photo. I mean, my takeaway is like you look at it and he looks healthy.

He has the Washington Post newspaper beside him. That's a Sunday's article.

**Deven** (3:38)
Yeah. To prove that it's a current photo. Of course, in today's day and age, everyone's saying this is AI. Apparently, I don't know totally how that works, but they're saying if you zoom in on the corner of the newspaper where the text is, it's like jumbled or blurry, and people are claiming that that's due to them. It's an AI photo.
People are being like, why is you wearing jeans in a button up in a hospital bed?

It's not a hospital bed though. It's a geriatric bed.

**Deven** (4:09)
What's the difference?

**Courtney** (4:10)
A hospital bed has rails on the sides, so you can easily move the patients, and this is for people who have not as good mobility.
