Good morning, everyone, and welcome to MidDays, SuperTalk Mississippi. I'm your host, Gerard Gibert, along with Rhino in the Alamut Wealth Studio, guiding you through the middle of your day with facts, fodder, and fine music on this Friday Eve. What's going on there, Rhino?

**Rhino** (1:21)
Not too terribly much. We've almost made it to the weekend.

**Gerard Gibert** (1:23)
Yeah, man. Well, I tell you, whose day just got a bunch worse, that's old Anthony Fauci. You know, Dr. Anthony.
Lock him up forever and throw away the key Fauci. He has been found in contempt by a Senate Homeland Security Committee, so they got his phone now. Is this guy just a nut? He's using government email systems and government-issued phones to essentially incriminate himself.
He, you know, I've gotten in some rather spirited debates with people about this issue, where I feel like he wielded a bunch of harm to the country, unnecessarily, but all because of his quest for political fame and fortune, or just public fame and fortune. This is a situation where you got just a lifelong government bureaucrat that's just stuck in a hole doing whatever the heck he was doing, that all of a sudden is on television screens across the world, I mean, just overnight, because of a disease, essentially. And where I drew the line, I was able to give him up just a little bit of leeway because he was advising decision makers, not the decision maker, but advising them. That's what he gets paid to do. And the president was relying on both presidents because we still had this pandemic thing going on, the tail end of the Trump administration. And remember, it hit us in like February 20, his final year in office in his first term. And then rolled right into it with, oh my gosh, Joe Biden. And his job was to advise.
And I think he got to the point where whatever he was telling the public and telling the presidents, where I drew the line is when his diary was exposed. And it clearly indicated that what he was saying to the public and what he was saying in his diary, writing entries in his diary, conflicted.
And it's, maybe you could stop short of saying he knew he was lying, although I really, my opinion is he did. He didn't care. He was more interested in the fame. How could you not reach that conclusion after reviewing all the dang entries in his diary where he talks about his fame, who he had dinner with, even one day mentioning that his comments negatively affected the stock market, as if he was bragging about evaporating billions, if not trillions of dollars, ultimately, of wealth. He was bragging about it. That's sick. Well, that's when, I just gotta tell you, I drew the line, and it's just shocking to me that people are more focused on, well, he saved lives, and he did this and he did that, with respect to the health of the nation, guiding through the pandemic, as he was, refusing to acknowledge, man, the guy was lying. Would it not have been okay, Rhino, for even a person in his position to just stand in front of the public and say, we really just ain't sure? Would that not be okay?

**Rhino** (5:22)
Yes and no.

**Gerard Gibert** (5:23)
Okay.

**Rhino** (5:24)
In a perfect world where people are rational and the mob is not beholding to the dumbest member of its squad, because remember, the mob is only as smart or half as smart as its dumbest member.

**Gerard Gibert** (5:41)
That's true. That's a good point.

**Rhino** (5:43)
So if we live in a perfect world where there was no overreaction, no knee-jerk reaction, no hysterics, and no allowing emotion to override logic, then yes, coming out and saying, we just don't know would be perfectly fine.
The sad part is, seemingly half the population cannot function on logic. They have to run on emotion and feelings, and oh my gosh, the sky is falling.
So if he came out and said that, they would have lost their minds.

I guess so. Well, that's a shame. So in other words, you can't really be honest, because would that have not been honest?
