Man, we're locked in. Today is Mississippi State Day. We're expecting the Bulldogs here on radio road, digital drive, whatever they want to call it now.

We've been trying to figure out all day, Gerard. It's like, all right, so this is at 11.05. No, it's at 10.05.

It's 10.05. We're just trying to figure it out.

I got you. Well, we appreciate you joining us. So what's the theme? What's the buzz? We talked to Borky Monday earlier in the week, of course, and he was talking about how just the whole idea of the government getting in and regulating college sports, that it's just gone a bit rogue, and he's not a fan of that. I'm not either. That's something we definitely agree on. Has that continued to be discussed during the week?

**Brian Hadad** (3:21)
Can we go a step further and say, we're not a fan of the government being involved in any darn thing?

**Gerard Gibert** (3:26)
Exactly.

**Brian Hadad** (3:28)
Right now, as much as it pains me to say this, but Tommy Tupperville with a great idea.
I like his bill. There are two things that are right now happening in college football that if you could get a hold of them, the eligibility and the transfer portal, I think a lot of other stuff would fall into place, and just simplify things and say, tell the NCA, you have the ability to enforce your own rules. Right now, we have an organization that has rules but can't enforce them. I imagine if your police department was like, yeah, these things are against the law. Well, what happens if I do them? Oh, nothing.
That's where we are with college football right now. So they need to simplify. Now, Gerard, if anybody knows, you know the government is not really about the simplification process of things. So we'll see how that works out. But man, if they could just give the NCAA power to do its own job, I think we could fix a lot of issues really quickly in college football.

**Gerard Gibert** (4:29)
Okay. Now, you know this, you hear this a lot, that a lot of people believe that the NCAA, as we know it today, may be dissolved and replaced, and we may break out and have new association, multiple associations. Is that a topic of discussion as well?

**Brian Hadad** (4:48)
Well, Greg Sankey brought it up on Monday when he addressed the media, talked about the potential for a breakaway. Here's the problem with a breakaway. In terms of you want to create a super conference basically, where you're going to take the best teams, maybe you take all the teams in the SEC, right? Maybe you take, but I doubt it. You take maybe the top half, take the top five or six out of the big 10, the top couple out of the ACC and the big 12 You put Notre Dame in there, right?
