Good morning, everyone, and welcome to MidDays. SuperTalk Mississippi. I'm your host, Gerard Gibert, along with Rhino in the Element Wealth Studio, guiding you through the middle of your day with facts, fodder, and fine music on this hump day. All right, so Jasmine Crockett, Texas representative.
What'd she say, Rhino? If you supported Argentina in the World Cup, you are a racist. Just add that to the long list of things that characterize one as a racist. Do they just sit around and dream up stuff like this? What's it's all about?

**Rhino** (1:44)
No, it's even sadder. They just go with whatever pops in their head and claim it's racist. They don't even put any thought into it.

**Gerard Gibert** (1:52)
Oh, it's just incredible. She tried to turn the World Cup fandom into a debate about racism. Haven't we seen, though? That's the strategy. That's the road map. That's the MO.
It's the same thing that's happening with the very tragic and sad death of teenager Nolan Wells. Same thing. They're trying to racialize this thing. And so, I think the latest there, we got an independent autopsy, and the findings aren't conclusive, right? There's nothing you can tell from it at this point. That's the latest.

Okay. Well, that makes sense. It's just going to take some time to investigate an incident like that. But jumping to conclusions, and I hate to say this, and it's sad to even think this, I feel like they want there to be a racial element here.

That's what I mean. The race pimps, essentially. They're just race shakedown artists, is all they are. And this is what Crockett is. Same deal. Of course, she got her rear end beat by another nutcase, James Talarico, nominee for United States Senate on the Democrat side for the Lone Star State of Texas, will be facing Republican nominee Ken Paxton in the general election. I'm sure she's still smarting from that butt-whooping she took. She never had a chance. But this is just a person who wakes up every day thinking about some race narrative.
And then they complain because other people are not so immersed in that subject, and they're out producing for society and making money, and they get mad because they achieve wealth. While you're busy trying to cook up some race scheme. It's sad. Really is. But yeah, she said, can you explain to me, though, what's going on with Argentina? What's the deal with them? She said there's a racist history that exists as it relates to Argentina.
Thus, if you supported Argentina in the World Cup, that makes you a racist.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news to Mrs. Crockett, but if you look at the history of just about every nation, they have some sort of stain of racism on their past.

**Gerard Gibert** (4:41)
Man, they can't seem to get that, though, can they?

**Rhino** (4:43)
And I mean, the most glaring Argentinian controversy you could even possibly point to would be Argentina was a hot spot for escaping Nazis of World War II.

Yeah.

To the point where there are little remote towns where German is the predominant language.

Exactly.

**Rhino** (5:05)
But rooting for Lionel Messi and Estavio and players like that, I don't see how it's racist if you're rooting for South Americans versus Spanish.

**Gerard Gibert** (5:24)
Right.
I mean, is it possible to even find a country that doesn't have some past history connection? Probably not, right?

**Rhino** (5:35)
Like, it might make some semblance of logical sense if you had an African nation versus a Scandinavian country. Like, if it was Norway versus the Democratic Republic of Congo, and you rooted for Norway, I don't think rooting for Norway alone makes you racist, but I would be more willing to buy the argument because you would obviously have a team full of a bunch of white blonde guys and a bunch of Africans.

But when you have Argentina versus Spain, and picking one of those makes you racist, but not the other, it's just asinine.
