All right, everybody, between daily podcast recordings, managing Mo News, workouts, life with a newborn and a toddler, I have learned that drinking water isn't always enough. When I'm dragging, dealing with brain fog, or feel a headache coming on, sometimes what I really need is electrolytes. That is why we have partnered for a long time with Element Electrolyte Powder. Each pack delivers a meaningful dose of electrolytes with zero sugar, no artificial colors, and none of the dodgy ingredients found in many popular sports drinks. My go-to flavors are lemonade and grapefruit salt, though they have a whole variety available for all of you. Right now, Mo News listeners can get a free eight-count sample pack of Element's most popular drink mix flavors, so you can figure out which one is your favorite. They also have a flavorless pack, by the way. You can find that all over at drinklmnt.com/monews, that is drinklmnt.com/monews, drinklmnt.com/monews.
We've heard from so many of you who have made this a regular part of your life, let us know about your element of experience and your favorite flavor. This will change the way you think about hydration. Again, go out and get that special Mo News deal over at drinklmnt.com/monews.

And I am Jill Wagner. This is the place where we bring you just the facts.

**Mosheh Oinounou** (1:58)
And where we read all the news and read between the lines so you don't have to. Jill, as we head into Labor Day weekend, I imagine some of you will already begin your travels today.
If you're traveling, we're getting a sense of the forecast in various parts of the country.

**Jill Wagner** (2:12)
Yep. In the New York area, it's looking like it's going to be relatively nice. Out West, though, forecasters say developing hurricane in the Pacific could bring anything from widespread rain and high surf to dangerous windy fire conditions. Or potentially it could have no impact at all. So lots of options out West. We do know that the warmer ocean water is creating more storms. So the Atlantic hurricane season has been pretty slow to get going. Just five tropical storms so far.
No one is complaining about that, but a very different story in the Pacific. Right now, there are three named storms, some of them major, and the reason is El Nino.

**Mosheh Oinounou** (2:54)
Yeah. As of this taping, there is Hurricane Lowell, Hurricane Carina, and Tropical Storm Marie right now.
Those of you in Hawaii have to watch out because they could bring future impacts to Hawaii if you look at the forecast there. But apocalyptic looking image, Jill, if you see all three hurricanes forming just apart from one another, feels like that forecast from day after tomorrow, where they show all the hurricanes at once. Thankfully, this is not the end of the world, folks, but still a very active situation in the Pacific, just given how hot the water is. It always gets warmer during El Nino years, but we're seeing record-breaking numbers right now. So definitely something to monitor, especially if you're in Hawaii, but also out west, because some of that moisture could make their way to the Southwest. And you've already been seeing some of those monsoons and severe weather making their way into Arizona, Utah and some other areas. And so cooler in the Northeast, rainy on the East Coast. We mentioned the Southwestern US. And then for those of you just in the middle, in the southern plains of Mississippi Valley, super hot. So a lot of you this weekend will have 100 degree plus temperatures.

**Jill Wagner** (4:02)
All right, to the headlines now, the jurors in the Lindsay Clancy triple murder trial are back at it for a sixth day today after saying yesterday that they were still deadlocked. The judge says keep trying.
