And now, as advertised for the last minutes of the program today, we're gonna open up the phones for Knicks fans. After last night's miraculous comeback, the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history, after trailing the Spurs by 29 points, they pulled off that stunning fourth quarter and finished the game winning by one point. And that puts them up three games to one in the Finals, one win away from their first title in 53 years, as many of you know. Now, this moment in New York City history happens to have a soundtrack, a kind of a spontaneous one, because last week, a 23-year-old from Jamaica, Queens, named MD. Hossain, grabbed a microphone after game one and gave the whole city four lines. Take a listen.
**MD Hossain** (0:59)
My mayor, Muslim, my bagels, Jewish, my Christian Dior, Knicks in four!
**Brian Lehrer** (1:06)
Ha! My mayor, Muslim, my bagels, Jewish, my Christian Dior, Knicks in four! MD. Hossain, an RIT grad from Queens, who says he just started riffing and wanted to bring everyone together. But since Knicks in four is off the table, listeners, we've been inviting you through the show to develop your version that ends with Knicks in five. So the floor is going to be yours now. Call in with the ones you've come up with that end in Knicks in five. How about this one that a listener texted in? It says, my mayor is Muslim, my Knicks Club president is Jewish, Brian Lehrer is live, Knicks in five. Or a few we've seen circling on social media, my mayor is Muslim, my bagel is Jewish, my June is pride, Knicks in five. That's cool. And so many others have been coming in. So here's what we're going to do. We're going to take a break. We're going to collect your phone calls, collect your texts. I'll read a bunch of the texts. We'll let you recite your four line rhyming poems that show a little love to the city, a little love to the team.
212-433-WNYC, they just have to end with Knicks in five. 212-433-9692.

My mayor is Muslim, my bagel is Jewish, my cream cheese is Jive. My Nixon Five. That's from ex-user, ThatGuyBG.
Nixon Five, we New York City. Now sitting pretty, ain't no Jive. Go Nixon Five. Thank you, Sam, from Astoria. Ride the subway till I die while losers drive. The Spurs can try, but it's Nixon Five. Here's a good one. It's June. Humid, clammy, but we're still alive with OG's fixed hammy. The Knicks win in five. Nick, appropriately, in Brooklyn. You're on WNYC. Hi, Nick.
**Nick** (3:16)
Hi. I've got Wemby Sturs, the mighty Spurs, but Brunson Town will take them down, and that's no Jive. The Knicks in five.
**Brian Lehrer** (3:26)
Thank you, Nick. Oren in Manhattan. You're on WNYC. Hi, Oren.
**Oren** (3:32)
Hi. If you're in New York City, it's great to be alive. The coolest parks, place and pictures, you know that is no Jive. And with our fast mass transit, you never have to drive, but we'll really be in heaven if the Knicks can win in five.
**Brian Lehrer** (3:47)
Neat. Thank you very much. Cheryl in Croton. You're on WNYC. Hi, Cheryl.
**SPEAKER_4** (3:54)
Hi. Here's mine.
Love the Knicks, but title deprived. Last one microfished and now archived. Each win historic, the feelings euphoric, rooting for the Knicks in five.
**Brian Lehrer** (4:09)
Thank you, Cheryl.
Here's another one in a text hat. Hot crowded city, can't pay the bills, but I love New York, won't run for the hills. We're all here together trying to survive. Let's do this New York Knicks in five. Gregory in Harlem, you're on WNYC. Hey, Gregory.
**SPEAKER_7** (4:28)
Hey, Brian.
**Brian Lehrer** (4:30)
It goes like this.
**SPEAKER_7** (4:32)
Oh, what a game. I almost cried, but I have no shame.
It's Knicks in five.
**Brian Lehrer** (4:39)
Thank you very much. And right on to Jane on the Upper East Side. You're on WNYC. Hi, Jane.
**SPEAKER_7** (4:49)
Hi.
**Jane** (4:50)
53 years for a shot, to be sure, won't be robots. In time for pride, Knicks by five.
**Brian Lehrer** (5:00)
You made me laugh, Jane. Thank you very much.
Another one. The Energy Electric, my neighborhood, eclectic. Watching in parks, bars, and streets live, cheering all the way.
Knicks in five. Another one. If you're in New York City, it's great to be alive. Coolest parks, plays, and pictures. You know that is no jive. And with our Fast Mass Transit, you never have to drive, but we'll really be in heaven if the Knicks can win in five. Hopefully, we won't have to do another one of these where you rhyme seven. So they've got the heaven rhyme in there just in case. How about Catherine of Manhattan here on WNYC. Hi, Catherine.
