So we're here on a Wednesday.

So this is, in my opinion, the most ridiculous story of 2026 And I don't get why people care so much about this. But we will kind of break down the newly released surveillance footage from the Kelly Clarkson incident at this toy shop in Brooklyn. And we also got the owner out.

Courtney (0:45)

Yeah, I thought two arguments about this today. And I can't believe it.

Deven (0:50)

Why do people care?

Courtney (0:51)

I don't know.

No, anyways, I don't have it in me.

And on a more serious story, I don't know if we've talked about it on the podcast yet. We've obviously covered it along the website. This tragedy that happened over the weekend at Six Flags, where the guy fell off the roller coaster and unfortunately passed away. We got some new information on that and some new stories about the man was identified yesterday and also they're opening the park on Friday, which is kind of crazy.

Okay, so Kelly Clarkson.

She's beefing with this toy shop in Brooklyn.

Is it a toy shop or a magic store?

I, everyone's describing it as a toy shop. I don't know what the hell it is.

I know that this bird is their opening act to like their shows.

Okay, Molly.

Yes.

And there's been that whole dispute over that it had a $15,000 price tag. Kelly wanted it. It was, they're saying it wasn't for sale.

There was clearly a miscommunication between her and whoever was helping her at the store. So last night, for people who don't know, Pablo Torre is a former ESPN reporter. So, I've always known him as just being a sports reporter. He then, after ESPN, I don't know if he got laid off or if he left, but he started his own, I guess it's a podcast, right?

Courtney (2:11)

Yeah, it's a podcast.

So basically it's called Pablo Finds Out. And so he does deep dives and he's done some incredible journalism because it's usually in the world of sports.

Courtney (2:21)

What an investigation this one is.

Deven (2:22)

No, I know, but he like did, covered all the stuff with the Clippers and that. And what's his name? Why am I forgetting his name? Kawhi Leonard and all that stuff. He did like a big deep dive into that. He did a deep dive into Bill Belichick and his girlfriend and got a bunch of stuff out of it.

Courtney (2:39)

Those are fun topics.

Yeah, so the guy does deep dives on, you know, usually sports stories. So for whatever reason, he took on this Kelly Clarkson story, which to me just shows how big it is.

Courtney (2:49)

It blew up.

Deven (2:51)

I know.

Courtney (2:52)

It was insane.

I think it's, clearly, like, Kelly Clarkson has a lot of people who ride for her.

Courtney (2:58)

Oh, she has diehard fans. That was one girl in the back was like, I've ridden with Kelly since 2001 I was like, okay.

Deven (3:05)

I have no issues with Kelly. I've always thought she was pretty cool. Anyways, back to Pablo for real quick. He posted the surveillance video, he obtained it, and they had this whole breakdown.

Courtney (3:15)

Yeah, we have it up on the website if you want to watch it. But honestly, she walks in, she's dressed just like every other person in that Brooklyn store. So it's like her using the pretty woman, it doesn't really hit for me because you were dressed the exact same as them. So I just don't really see her point on that. And you can see her and the guy, they do get into a disagreement. She's pointing to the bird, he's pointing to something else, and then you see her storm out, but then she comes back in and starts disputing with another employee.

Yeah, so unfortunately the surveillance has no audio, so you don't get the tone, you don't hear what's actually said, because that's kind of what we need to know because this is kind of-
