Disclosure Day is Steven Spielberg's best film in 20 years. Are they people? No.
Are they human?

**Kay McCabe** (0:13)
My God.

**Branson Quirke** (0:14)
Spielberg does this better than anybody in history. I can see them. They're coming.

Hey, welcome to The TMZ Podcast. I'm Branson Quirke.

**Kay McCabe** (0:41)
And I'm Kay McCabe.

**Branson Quirke** (0:42)
Welcome back, Kay.

**Kay McCabe** (0:43)
Hi, it's glad to be back. It's been a minute.

**Branson Quirke** (0:45)
It's always hard getting you on because when I walk over to her desk, she's like, I can't today, I can't today, I can't today.

**Kay McCabe** (0:51)
A busy woman.

**Branson Quirke** (0:52)
Yeah, I mean, she works in social media.

**Kay McCabe** (0:54)
I'm the social media manager.

**Branson Quirke** (0:56)
Sorry, I meant to say manager, sorry. Which means that she always has to be listening to Harvey, to the new stories going out, which is all day long.

**Kay McCabe** (1:06)
Yeah.

**Branson Quirke** (1:07)
Right?

**Kay McCabe** (1:07)
Yeah.

**Branson Quirke** (1:07)
All day.

**Kay McCabe** (1:08)
And I run the X page. So a lot of stories, a lot of DC clips, you know, that's like the home for that. So I'm, you know, cutting those and making the captions, headlines and all that good stuff.

**Branson Quirke** (1:21)
So a lot of followers to report to on there.

**Kay McCabe** (1:24)
Almost nine million. Geez. Yeah.

**Branson Quirke** (1:27)
Geez.

**Kay McCabe** (1:27)
I'm proud of it. If it wasn't that social media followers purge, we would have been past or past nine million by now.

**Branson Quirke** (1:34)
Oh, right. That's right. That's right. Well, before we get into the biggest story arguably of the past couple of days, other than Taylor Swift, to be honest with you, we do want to try and talk about that. And we'll try to get to that because we have some exclusive details about Taylor Swift's wedding, but we do need to talk about Karmelo Anthony and then updates in that entire case because we talked about it yesterday and this morning, the sentence, 35 years. But before we get into that, I do want to quickly plug a new podcast that's launching here at TMZ tomorrow, Splits.
Can you guess what that's about?

**Kay McCabe** (2:11)
Okay, splits. I can either think about someone doing the splits or...

**Branson Quirke** (2:20)
You know, breakups, right?

**Kay McCabe** (2:22)
Breakups.

**Branson Quirke** (2:22)
You don't think of breakups right away, right?

**Kay McCabe** (2:24)
I was thinking that, but that was my second option, but I was first like someone doing the splits.

**Branson Quirke** (2:29)
Well, so it's going to be hosted by Derek Kaufman, our very own lawyer on The Last Days Podcast. Katie Hayes. Katie Hayes is a personality here. She's been here for a very long time. She actually has kind of a fan base here at TMZ for whatever reason. People just love Katie and she's on the show sometimes.
She's going to be on this with Derek and they're going to be talking about Brad and Angelina. They're going to be talking about Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, all of the splits that were the biggest stories of the year.

**Kay McCabe** (2:57)
I need to cover me and my ex.

**Branson Quirke** (2:58)
Oh, wow. Is it better?

**Kay McCabe** (3:01)
Is it a better story? Better fact, better fact, which one?

**Branson Quirke** (3:03)
I was going to say which one. Which one of the 40?

**Kay McCabe** (3:07)
Oh, relax.

**Branson Quirke** (3:09)
I'm kidding.

**Kay McCabe** (3:10)
Yes.

**Branson Quirke** (3:11)
Okay, well, yeah, tomorrow morning launches.

**Kay McCabe** (3:15)
I'll be tuned in.

**Branson Quirke** (3:16)
Check out splits on Apple, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts. All right, moving on to Karmelo Anthony. So you saw 35 years is the sentence. Now he's appealing.
So he's officially begun the appeals processed after being convicted of murdering Austin Metcalf and receiving a 35-year prison sentence. TMZ obtained the court record showing Anthony filed a notice of appeal and the filing occurred less than 24 hours after sentencing. His lawyer did give a statement, Mike Howard, telling TMZ after the conclusion of the trial yesterday, we gave the court our official notice that Karmelo Anthony is filing an appeal. We believe there are several important issues for the appellate appellate of the appellate courts to thank you to consider. He emphasized an appeal is the next part of the legal process and a right afforded every American.
