Republican lawmakers circulated a new draft of the Clarity Act with fresh requirements for DeFi firms and some TradFi companies moving into crypto. Senator Cynthia Lummis, one of the bill's chief negotiators, says the text now folds in more than 114 provisions added at Democrats' request. She's urging colleagues to pass legislation rather than leave crypto rules to the SEC and CFTC. The first procedural vote is set for Tuesday and it needs 60 senators to advance. Kalshi is planning to bring one of crypto's most popular trades to US stocks. The Prediction Marketplace wants to offer roughly 60 perpetual futures tied to individual stocks and ETFs, including Tesla, Apple and Nvidia. A Tesla perp could keep trading through nights and weekends, giving a live read on the company while the stock market is closed. Ripple is putting AI agents into the corporate treasury business it spent a billion dollars to enter last year. The new G-Smart tools sit inside Ripple Treasury, where agents can monitor a company's cash, flag a problem and recommend an action. Nothing executes until a person approves it.
