**Branson Quirke** (0:41)
Go Knicks, or what? Are we there?
**Charlie Neff** (0:44)
I was kind of rooting for the Spurs.
**Branson Quirke** (0:46)
Really?
**Charlie Neff** (0:47)
Yeah, I have family that's from Texas, and they're such a small town. I was like, come on. I was rooting for the small town win.
**Branson Quirke** (0:55)
Why didn't you say anything on the TV show?
**Charlie Neff** (0:57)
I did, it got cut. Oh, this morning, no. I'm not gonna fight all these people.
**Branson Quirke** (1:01)
Meanwhile, Charles is wearing a literal orange and blue suit today.
**Charlie Neff** (1:06)
Yeah, he looks like a manager for Home Depot.
**Branson Quirke** (1:08)
I like it. I think it's cool. If you want to see Charles go on TMZ Live today, it looks cool.
**Charlie Neff** (1:14)
Yeah, he does.
**Branson Quirke** (1:15)
I think Harvey should be dressed up too.
**Charlie Neff** (1:17)
Oh, Harvey's not into sports.
**Branson Quirke** (1:20)
He pulls court a little bit, you know, bring it back.
**Charlie Neff** (1:22)
Oh, yeah, okay.
**Branson Quirke** (1:23)
Bring it back, man. Okay, well, we have a variety of stories today.
**Charlie Neff** (1:28)
Yeah, a lot going on. Happy Monday.
**Branson Quirke** (1:30)
Happy Monday.
**Charlie Neff** (1:31)
We're gonna start off with When You Love, Try Try Again, or Do You Just Stop?
**Branson Quirke** (1:38)
Wait, wait, wait, you said try, try again. Throw a few more tries in there.
**Charlie Neff** (1:42)
Try, try, try, try, try, try, try.
**Branson Quirke** (1:45)
Maybe add 10 more, then try again.
**Charlie Neff** (1:47)
And then, yeah, well, in J.Lo's case at least. So she says her divorce from Ben Affleck forced her to, quote, figure herself out. She was on the Smart List podcast opening up about two years ago when her and Ben split, and how she kind of how to reevaluate her life.
Here's what she had to say.
**Jennifer Lopez** (2:08)
There comes a point where it's all so puzzling and wrong, where you have to sit there. And after my last divorce, I just sat there and I was like, I canceled my Torah and I sat there and I was just like, you need to figure yourself out.
What is going on with you? Forget about everybody else. There's nobody to blame here except yourself in a certain way. Not that people don't behave in a way that's not great, but what are you doing?
What do you have going on?
And that was a turning point for me. And that was a couple of years ago now. Wow.
**Charlie Neff** (2:47)
I mean...
**Branson Quirke** (2:47)
This is with Ben Affleck?
**Charlie Neff** (2:49)
Yes, the split with Ben Affleck. So she's been married four times. She's been engaged six times.
So she was married to Ohani Noah, Chris Judd, Mark Anthony and Ben Affleck. But she was also engaged once to A-Rod. So now we're on five. And then also the sixth engagement was Ben the first time proposing.
**Branson Quirke** (3:12)
Yes, yes.
**Charlie Neff** (3:14)
So I feel like when you go through all of that, yeah, you're gonna end up in a spot where she is now, or at least where she was at the time, which is like being like, okay, I probably should focus on myself because do you think that you're the common denominator as to why none of these worked out?
**Branson Quirke** (3:35)
It's, you know, people are gonna trash J.Lo and I myself can make jokes. But then I think, you know, obviously there were some bad decisions made in terms of getting together with that person. The compatibility wasn't there multiple times over.
So, that alone, her not working on herself in the beginning, is what has led to this four times now, six times now, because she got with these people that were like that boyfriend that you have for a while, but married that person, and then found herself having to break that marriage off. But can you imagine, think about it, like put yourself in J.Lo's shoes, you were sitting there or standing there, wherever it is, and someone gets down on one knee six times. Like, will you marry me? And all those emotions, six times. Statistics are against you, Jennifer Lopez.
