So we're talking about your new report, Socialism's National Spread. You've written an analysis of this for the Daily Wire.

On the rise of the Democratic Socialists of America, what do our listeners need to know first about this report?

Brooke Medina (3:35)

I think the first thing that they need to know is the startling growth of the DSA from across the nation. So back in 2013, there were only about 21 chapters across the country. Now, there are 204 chapters, and it doesn't just stick at the federal level. This spans state, local and federal. I mean, we've even had folks that are running for flood commissioners that identify as DSA candidates. So this is widespread. I think that's the most startling thing about this report.

So is this in every single state?

Virtually every single state has a DSA entity, whether it's a chapter or an organization. Two states sit outside of that, and that is Alaska and Wyoming. But I'm sure they have their sites there as well.
