But we're gonna talk about his race from the APAC Championships. Then we're gonna clear out the inbox. If you're watching this, you can see my office is a little bit changed. I've got my boots on and I'm in my comfy chair in the afternoon. So, I'm ready to rumble for this podcast, Anthony. How are you doing?

Good. So, when everybody hears the air being let out and stuff, it's not like hydraulics being implanted into your legs or anything to-

Can you actually hear it?

That's why you're so fast. Oh yeah, I can hear it.

No, no, no. It was just whenever it releases, I hear a little bit, but it was just, don't worry about it. I was just trying to be funny, but I'm not.

No, I hope it doesn't affect our audio then.

No, we should be fine.

There we go. How's this week been the only parent with Lily this week?
**Anthony** (2:05)
She's been great.
I love these daddy daughter weeks where we get to just hang out. So I cleaned the whole living room. And when I say I cleaned our living room, I ripped all the furniture and the bookshelves, the couch, all of Lily's stuff out. I scrubbed down the tile. I steam cleaned all the tile, swept it off, cleaned it, and then rearranged the furniture when I put it back in. So I might have to do it again next week when Lauren gets home and sees it and tells me to put it back.

But see if she likes it or not.
**Anthony** (2:44)
Yeah. Did that in the living room, moved the dining room table, cleaned out the kitchen a bit. Next, tomorrow as I'm still here, just me and Lily probably going to do the same thing to the computer room.

Very good, very good. What's on the agenda today, Anthony?
**Anthony** (3:11)
Today, guys, we are going to talk about a notification I got during the last podcast I uploaded. That was two weeks ago. Then we are going to talk about, we had a whole bunch of topics and we will cover all of these at some point. I'm just going to read them off because they are all on my topics list here. But it's probably not everything we are going to do today. We are probably just going to do about an hour today and then we will do more of these later.
But we are going to say, what is fitness in the context of HYROX? We are going to define fitness for HYROX.
I want to show a power versus time graph. How much power output we are doing during any given moment at different points in the race and over time. We are going to talk about strength. How your actual gross strength and your applied strength meld together and when you should be doing what. We are going to review a little bit about the APAC races that happened this past weekend, the APAC regional, and we might talk a little bit about the final major in Warsaw that is happening this weekend. I'm very excited to get that. Actually, from the time of recording, it's 11 and a half hours away from the women's start. So we will get that on the discussion. And we have a bunch of questions that we have not answered in a while and I haven't cleaned up the question tab that I have here. So we're going to try to answer some of those, several of them actually.
And maybe we'll talk about the first mean comment we got.

Yeah, that's true. Maybe we can chuck that in as well.

Maybe we'll talk about that. So, all right, guys, going first thing, JK, let's just talk a little bit about your weekend, Mr. First Place First Place.
**JK** (5:15)
Yeah. Yeah, thank you. It was great, mate. Obviously, we've discussed a lot about my particular races and whatnot. But, yeah, it was a great event, Anthony.
I'm very glad that HYROX had these regional setups this year. More so from the perspective of giving athletes the opportunity to race at the elite level that have never had the opportunity before. You know, even looking at the APAC races, right, apart from myself and actually, apart from myself and John Nguyen, everyone else on that male start line had, that was their first elite race. And then on the female side, apart from Calypso, Gabby and of course, Jess Petro, everyone else was debuting as well. So, you know, like I actually really enjoyed how HYROX has put this on. And, you know, from my perspective, the two races, you know, I can't really be disappointed in both of my races because at the end of the day, my objective for both was to win and I was able to do that. Obviously, on Friday night and then Saturday night with Matty Slee.
