I feel like you ducked down when you said that. You were like, hide me. Really?

I want to let the chat know, obviously, we know Branson, face of the pod here. Branson is in charge of the podcast department, but Tony is really the backbone of the department. So Tony is one that keeps the wheels greased, okay? So Branson come in here trying to say he runs stuff.

Deven took a shot at Branson this morning earlier on the podcast, Netta took a shot, and now you're taking it.

Eric Wilson (1:51)

This is great. None of us like Branson. This is what we're getting at here.

I don't think he's going to be too thrilled.

I hope he edits this and gets into this. All right, go ahead. Friday, it's going to be a short one today.

We're coming in a little late here. A lot going on, but one of the major exclusives that we broke today is about Hayden Panettiere and her memorial service this weekend. So do we just want to jump into it? Yeah, let's go. All right, so this weekend, tomorrow, it looks like Saturday in Malibu, Hayden Panettiere will finally be honored by friends and family at a church in Malibu.

We are told that they picked this location because she loved the ocean, she loves whales, she liked the beach, so they decided to do this in Malibu. But what the interesting thing about this is, obviously, it's going to be probably a big memorial service. I think they're expecting about 150 people, friends, families, celebrities will all be there. People who will not be there is interesting. Her mother and Brian Hickerson and Zach Hickerson are not invited.

So, let me ask you this, are you, what's your initial reaction to that? Are you surprised, not surprised?

Eric Wilson (3:02)

I'm a little, I don't know. I think the mom is surprising. Obviously, they had a falling out. But the fact that it looks like Hayden's dad, what's his name?

Tony (3:11)

Eric Wilson (3:13)

Apparently, Skip is a part of the planning process for this. So, for him to not invite the mom, obviously, he would know probably better than anyone alive right now, what their relationship was really like, how tumultuous it was. And Lesley, obviously, Hayden's mom has spoken out about Hayden, her relationship with Brian, how she kind of faults Brian for the death of Hayden.

But it's not like she's trashing Hayden, right? We know that they had their difficulties as most mother-daughters do, really. But she never seemed to fault Hayden for this stuff. It was more kind of putting the blame on Brian, how Brian treated her.

Tony (3:54)

And we know Brian has had his history.

Eric Wilson (3:57)

For sure. I mean, they both pretty much admitted that he was physically abusive to her. Obviously, both on drugs at various points in their life, both with each other, supporting each other in that quest to get high.

But yeah, the mother was not invited, Brian and Zach. Brian and Zach makes more sense.

Tony (4:15)

I agree with you. I think Brian, especially recently with all the videos that we've seen with Brian and Zach at the bar and all this. And too, we'll get into what Brian had to say about this in a minute. But I'm not surprised, long story short, I'm not surprised that Brian and Zach were not invited.
