Hayden Panettiere's Ex Takes Legal Action

We do have an update in the Hayden Panettiere case. Her ex, Wladimir Klitschko, is seeking temporary guardianship of their daughter. So we do have updates for that, and there's specific reasoning why he's wanting temporary guardianship. But after that, we got some uplifting stories, I would say. A reconciliation, and then...

I was obsessed with... This was one of my most favorite reality shows ever, and we're finally seeing one of the castmates get engaged. We'll reveal who at the end.

So, for Hayden Panettiere, we do have an update in the case, like I said earlier. Wladimir Klitschko is seeking temporary guardianship of their daughter, Kaya, and Wladimir says the guardianship is needed to protect Kaya's rights as the sole beneficiary of Hayden's estate. He's also concerned that some of Hayden's property and assets could be lost or misappropriated. So, he wrote in a petition, Kaya is not a resident of California. This court has jurisdiction over the guardianship of Kaya's estates because as such heir, Kaya is entitled to the entirety of the assets subject to Hayden's probate administration in California. Sorry, a lot of words there, but basically, he's saying she's entitled to get all of Hayden's property because that's her daughter and she's not a resident of California, which I would assume since he would want temporary guardianship because that's her brother.

And it seems he's specifically stepping in after, this all arise from a documented concern that an individual had gained unauthorized access to Hayden's property.

Tony (2:10)

That's scary. Yes. It's her safety concerns. Do you want to get into those?

Units containing designer clothing and accessories worn to public appearances have been relocated as a precaution.

Tony (2:21)

Wow.

So things like her things and her inventory are things that are valuable. They're like not where they're supposed to be.

Tony (2:30)

Right. So also to apparent, Wladimir says Hayden tried to hire a security company before her death to protect her home and belongings. So the petition says the security arrangement was created, quote, arising from a documented concern that an individual had gained, which just said.

And apparently, Wladimir says the locks were changed after Hayden's death as well, which is, it's just like, it's crazy. It's kind of like a Dolly Parton thing and what's happening with the estate and with the nephew. We're seeing all the updates with that. And it's just you wouldn't expect this type of fallout afterwards. Like you would just hope like we get answers with toxicology, which we did.

But, you know, but you would just hope that at this point, after all the stories about like huge legends dying, the aftermath is always shaky with their estate and the beneficiaries and the family.

Tony (3:24)

It's crazy that we have to worry about like that, like any concern, like a state, because we're in the state with Dolly Parton's story. And then, you know, with security concerns about Hayden's property as well, with her having to hire a security company to protect her home and belongings after it. But you just, it's...

This shouldn't even be a concern. It's so sad that Hayden's gone. Like, this shouldn't even be a worry. Like, her wishes should...

If those were her wishes, no one should get involved or meddle. Everything should go to her daughter.
