It's almost fall. It's tennis. This is everything I'm about, Moshe. And that US. Open started Sunday. So today is the last day of the first round. A couple of big matches. Cocoa Goff plays today. Taylor Fritz plays today on the men's side. The Williams sisters are back in action. They're playing doubles. Venus is 46 Serena is 44
So just amazing to watch them keep going.

We will depend on you to keep us honest on all the major headlines over the next couple of weeks. Jill, you mentioned Taylor Fritz there. It's actually been 23 years since the last time an American won a Grand Slam. That was Andy Roddick, Randy Roddick back at the 2003 US. Open. And there is a chance this year that we could see an American win on the men's side. You got Brandon Nakashima. You got Francis Tiafoe. You got Ben Shelton. So we're going to watch all of that, at least on TV, Jill, because it appears the ticket price is still very, very pricey.

I cannot afford to go personally. It's sad because I love tennis and I think there's a lot of people out there who are like me.
Tickets have been averaging nearly $300 over on the resale market.

And that's before you get one of those, what's the special drink? The honey deuces.

They are good though.

A couple of honey deuces and suddenly you don't care about the price, but it is expensive and apparently to sit courtside at Arthur Ashe for club seats, it's nearly 3000 bucks a day.

That's a bargain compared to Nick's finals tickets, Jill.

Those are going for like $80,000, $100,000, right? You got to put it in perspective, sports math.

All right, let's get to some headlines. Starting in Arizona, the search continues at Grand Canyon National Park after that deadly flash flooding this weekend. Two people have been confirmed dead, about 15 are still missing.

How this year's record El Nino is making the annual monsoon season that much more dangerous out west.

And another flash flood, an update on Nepal, where the death toll from that glacial collapse last week has now passed 900 people and rescuers are racing to reach hundreds of workers that are still trapped underground in hydropower tunnels.

We'll also tell you about the school principal who helped evacuate 900 students at the last second as the school would quickly disappear underwater, saved hundreds more. Really incredible story.

To the Middle East, the US and Iran are exchanging fire for the first time in more than a month.

It comes as Iranians are really feeling the pinch, long lines for gas at home. This has really become a battle between the two sides as to who can exert more economic pain on the other. And right now it appears the US is winning that fight.

For less than two weeks from the 25th anniversary of September 11th, new numbers show that cancer cases tied to that day are up nearly 1700% in a decade. The Supreme Court gives President Trump the green light to finish the White House ballroom.
Two trials were following in Massachusetts. The jury in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial moves into another day of deliberations. Clancy admitted to killing her three children, but the question remains, will she be held criminally responsible?

And in Vegas, the jury now has the Tupac Shakur murder case. Nearly 30 years after his killing, we'll tell you about how that case went and what to expect.
