I don't know how many of you have seen the video that came out over the weekend of this lifeguard in California. 16-year-old, apparently named Rider, who was captured saving a 10-year-old from pretty relentless waves over the weekend.

I have personally, Moshe, watched that video about five times. And every time I am just blown away at the resilience of this lifeguard, because you could tell that the currents and that the waves were just so incredibly strong. And apparently President Trump has seen the video because he invited Rider and his family to the White House.

Yeah, he says he's going to give him an award.
Just for a background here, Santa Cruz lifeguards out there in California are pretty highly trained. They receive 56 hours of instruction, 24 hours of medical certification, and more than 80 hours of marine safety lifeguard training. So they are well prepared for what was pretty torrential, a surf out there. According to officials with the California State Park's Santa Cruz District, lifeguards performed 34 rescues. That was just one of 34, just in that area over the weekend.

Okay, let's get to the headlines here. Remembering Senator Lindsey Graham, President Trump and Vice President JD. Vance, look back at Graham's life at Tuesday's funeral. Who was there and the high level meetings on the sidelines?

And overnight, Iran launches what CENTCOM calls an attempted surprise attack on US forces based in the Middle East. A big hearing on Capitol Hill today about the origins of Covid. Dr. Anthony Fauci will be testifying under oath. He was in charge of the US response to the virus back in 2020

Yeah, apparently he was keeping lots of notes on his work computer. Those notes are out. They're calling it Anthony Fauci's personal diary.
It reveals his thoughts as Covid was unfolding, as the crisis was unfolding, what we've learned about that diary and what might come up today.

Overseas, a deadly earthquake in Japan caused buildings to collapse, with many people still missing. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear not satisfied with Senator Mitch McConnell's statement about his health. Beshear wants McConnell to prove his, quote, capacity to serve or resign. Right.
