Hey everybody, it is Thursday, July 30th. You're listening to the Mo News podcast. I'm Moshe Oinounou.

**Jill Wagner** (2:06)
And I am Jill Wagner. This is the place where we bring you just the facts.

**Mosheh Oinounou** (2:10)
And we read all the news and read between the lines so you do not have to.

**Jill Wagner** (2:13)
And Moshe, we know summer is peak travel season. And with that, the TSA has released the list of the seven weirdest things that it has confiscated from passengers.

**Mosheh Oinounou** (2:25)
Yes, it's everything from a live smoke grenade hidden inside a jar of peanut butter to a samurai sword.
Obviously we were hearing over the summer as all the European terrorists came to the US and discovered ranch dressing, or as they refer to it, ranch sauce. And TSA was like, guys, liquid rules here. But it gets way more concerning than ranch dressing here. Some folks actually try to travel with fake bombs, things that look like bombs. The TSA is like, can we not do this, please?

**Jill Wagner** (2:55)
And back to the ranch dressing, apparently so many tourists were trying to smuggle ranch dressing back home that Kraft actually released a travel size TSA compliant kit of ranch dressing.

**Mosheh Oinounou** (3:10)
Yeah, you're good on ranch now, but the TSA would like to remind everyone, this is their ex-post. It sort of goes without saying, but things that don't belong in your bag, explosives and replicas of explosives.
Memo to everyone. Don't mess with the TSA that way.
Even if you try to hide it in a jar of peanut butter, they will find it.

**Jill Wagner** (3:31)
I get nervous bringing nail clippers and tweezers. No longer.

**Mosheh Oinounou** (3:37)
Oh, those will still be confiscated. You're like, are you kidding me?
And the unfortunate thing is like, while they're focused on that, something more significant could get through. But this is their annual list and you can check out more of those items over on the Mo News Instagram page.

**Jill Wagner** (3:54)
All right. Time for the headlines. Dr. Fauci returns to Capitol Hill. Republicans have questions, but he pled the fifth more than 100 times.

**Mosheh Oinounou** (4:03)
We'll tell you why this hearing matters, where we are on COVID more than six years after the beginning of the pandemic. What could come next year for Anthony Fauci, even with the pardon he got from President Biden?

**Jill Wagner** (4:13)
To the economy, the worst day for the stock market in a year after the Fed holds interest rates steady.
