Welcome back to the TMZ Podcast. My name is Alexa Clone and we have a very special guest today. We've talked to her before, but ever since, I mean, her viralness has just exploded. So you might know her from her viral QVC on air blooper, Toni Brattin. Welcome to the podcast.
**Toni Brattin** (1:00)
Thanks for having me again.
**Alexa Clone** (1:02)
Yeah, thanks for coming back on. I know last time we spoke, we were just speaking about your obvious viral moment. But it was a little captured on QVC while you were promoting your wig hairline. But ever since, you've now put a wig on Jimmy Fallon. So tell us what is happening, Toni. What is your reaction to this whole thing?
**Toni Brattin** (1:25)
Oh my gosh. Well, yeah, Jimmy just took and ran with this. And I love that he just found the humor of it. He was absolutely fantastic to meet and work with.
He actually came to my dressing room. We had a couple of great laughs in there as well. And it's been epic to say the least. So it has been a world win. I flew up to New York and was on the show and just had the best time ever.
And throwing that wig, I think it was just, it was crazy when I walked out on the set. The energy from the audience, I mean, I don't think anyone was expecting me to walk on. And it just, it was such a positive moment. It was really a sense of just full circle. And here I am now on the Jimmy Fallon show, and now I'm gonna put a wig on Jimmy Fallon. And so it was, it just, I couldn't believe it. It was fantastic. He was an incredible sport, and we just had the best time.
**Alexa Clone** (2:38)
That's so wild. Did you think by accidentally saying something that you didn't mean to say, that saying a BJ would get you on The Tonight Show?
**Toni Brattin** (2:49)
Oh my gosh. I mean, you know, I've had, in my career, many bloopers, but it was before we, there was such a thing as social media.
So yeah, if I had other iconic moments that we have all laughed at in my family for years, absolutely, don't dig too deep in my skeleton closet because you'll find them. But you know, again, it's live TV. So that's the beauty and the joy and the excitement. And that's what brings, I think, what I do, what we all do that's in this industry, just the realness of any iconic moment can happen. And you never know when it's going to happen. But yeah, it happened to me last week.
**Alexa Clone** (3:39)
I know you're obviously used to being on air. It's nothing that's too crazy. But like you said, I mean, Tonight Show 2 is such a huge production. Were you nervous at all? What was your kind of like thought process going into it?
**Toni Brattin** (3:54)
1000%. I was nervous.
**SPEAKER_1** (3:56)
I said, this is crazy.
**Toni Brattin** (3:57)
I've done this for 30 years. I walk on QVC like I'm walking across the street to walk my dog. It's just, it's crazy. And that's what I was telling everyone at the Fallon Studio. I said, why? You know, I'm nervous to meet Jimmy.
The whole thing. But it's just the realism of change.
That level of walking into somebody else's house is how I felt for the very first time. And just meeting such a legend as Jimmy Fallon and really embracing it. And we both genuinely, I guess, we're funny people. I've always loved to laugh. My father was an incredible funny man. And I guess, you know, I got a little bit of that from him or maybe a whole lot.
**Alexa Clone** (4:54)
I love it. It's so funny. And I think even what made it even better is that you then again, had yet kind of another slip up. Like when you went on saying that you didn't know if you were going to go to the right, you didn't know if you were going to go to the left, and you just went down.
Toni, was that a mistake again?
