I am Tawanda and I am trying not to fangirl out because one of the people that I have for this podcast is someone who I have been watching on television for a very, very, very long time.
They have literally put everything on the screen for us to watch with their family. We've basically grown up with them. And so I am so happy to introduce my guest today. It is none other than Pumpkin from the Mama June franchise. Pumpkin, thank you so much for coming.

Hey, how are you? Excited to be here, girl.

Girl, I'm so happy to have you here. This was exciting for me. I know we were trying to get this working, but we finally got it in the works. So boom, I'm so happy to have you. So first things first, let's start off. So like I said in my introduction, a lot of people know you from the Honey Boo Boo series, the Mama June series, From Hot to Not, Family Crisis. We have seen you and your family on TV for quite a long time now. And you recently have started to venture into a whole new world, if you will. You have gotten into OnlyFans, you have gotten into Grassy, you in the strip club throwing that thing back. You really just are in a whole new lane.
What made you want to go this route, the OnlyFans route, the adult content route?

**Pumpkin** (2:02)
Honestly, and I've told a million people this, realistically, back in March, I was in a financial struggle myself too. My boyfriend, he works a blue collar job, but as you know, jobs don't pay like they should. So we were making it, but we were barely making it, if we're going to be honest. And so we were paying our bills, we were doing what we needed to do. And then one of my friends came to me one day and she's like, hey girl, I do OnlyFans and I make X amount of dollars a month. And I'm like, holy shit, if you're making that much, I could kill the game because I'm super confident with myself.
Taking photos of myself is something I do on the everyday basis anyways. So I was like, okay. So about a week later, I had a conversation with Darren and obviously I wanted to respect his boundaries. I also wanted to respect mine as well. Obviously how far we were willing to go, how far we were not willing to go. And then it kind of just went from there, if I'm being honest. So the same account on OnlyFans, I've had it for like four or five years. But like when I was married and stuff, that wasn't on the table. That wasn't an option. And so now being with Darren, he really is like opening up my eyes to like being comfortable with myself, like being sexy, being, just being myself, honestly.

So you say that in your last relationship, that wasn't an option. How do you know? Did you bring it up to Josh? Did you ever like kind of dibble and dabble to see what he would say? And you got the help?

**Pumpkin** (3:32)
Um, yes. And because if we're being honest, like I definitely bought it up because like I was struggling back then too, when we were together. I was like, obviously the main breadwinner in the family, obviously. And so I bought that up at one point. I'm like, hey, maybe we should try to do OnlyFans. I was like, obviously, of course, like right when COVID came out, everybody was kind of doing OnlyFans and he just was not for it.

So with that being said, you guys, co-parent, four children, relatively young children. If he wasn't for it, how, I mean, granted, he's not your man now, but he is the father of your children. What has his reaction been to you going, joining OnlyFans as the mother of his kids?

**Pumpkin** (4:13)
Um, honestly, just like, you know, just be careful, you know, think about the kids and obviously I do, I think about the kids in every aspect. And it's not just like about the money, like it's being able to provide my kids with such a better lifestyle. Like we're able to go out on the weekends and go out on our pontoon boat. We're able to, you know, I'm able to never miss a school event. Like I'm at every single field trip, every single soccer game, every single soccer practice. Like it gives me the ability to be there with my kids versus going and getting a nine to five and barely struggling for childcare, paying bills, not getting any time with them without having to pick up a second job. Like, so that was just kind of like his biggest thing. And honestly, like he's, he's also said to me, like, I don't care what you do. Like we're not together anymore. So do your thing.
