Everything you didn't see at the 2026 VRT Awards

SPEAKER_1 (0:00)

I'm just flattered and honored. Apparently, you just gotta go through a big public breakup to get a little attention, so thank you guys.

And I was like, is this my glow up, or maybe I just wasn't being noticed?

Danny Murphy (0:15)

Virtual Reali-Tea. Hi, I'm Danny Murphy.

Evan Real (0:19)

I'm Evan Real.

Danny Murphy (0:20)

And in case you missed it, we had the second annual VRT Awards last night, and we're still riding the high of that, the after party, the fact that you all can be watching it on this Friday, the 9th, on Philo for free. Hello.

Evan Real (0:33)

I mean, it was the night of our lives. I was saying it kind of felt like a wedding in so many ways. There was such a celebratory, joyous feeling in the room. There were so many reality stars in one place, all getting along, including the Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast who won best cast.

SPEAKER_4 (0:51)

First off, thank you for everyone that voted. Thank you for Page Six. You guys are amazing. We love you now though, Brian.

Danny Murphy (1:02)

We love you.

SPEAKER_4 (1:02)

We love Brian now.

Danny Murphy (1:03)

Oh my God. Presented by Philo, that award and that cast. Talk about a well-deserved cast.

Evan Real (1:08)

I mean, was there really any other choice? I know we had the Traders, we had Love Thy Nader, we had Jersey Shore, but Rhode Island, they really just made the ultimate splash this year.

Danny Murphy (1:16)

They were wicked. Whenever I was talking to anyone, they were like, this party is wicked.

Evan Real (1:19)

Yes. I was like, I love that it was wicked. It was fabulous. Also wicked, Rosie was a two-time VRT award winner.

SPEAKER_4 (1:27)

I could get used to this.

Evan Real (1:28)

Rosie Woods, Demar, congratulations to you. She won best quote of the year. She was up against Liz.

SPEAKER_4 (1:34)

I know.

Evan Real (1:35)

It was between you and Neva Homeless and your slam pig. I mean, that's tough.

Danny Murphy (1:41)

Hard competition. I quote so much so often.

Evan Real (1:42)

And then there was also more Higgins, I think. And then who was it? Give me 10 Give me 10 Melanie Moreno.

SPEAKER_1 (1:48)

She needed 10 votes.

Evan Real (1:49)

Yeah. Well, we didn't count.

Danny Murphy (1:50)

I'm sure she got a lot of votes.

Evan Real (1:52)

She got at least 10 votes.

Danny Murphy (1:54)

But you know what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_6 (1:56)

She just needed 10 more.

Danny Murphy (1:57)

Yeah. Rosie won twice. So did Luan, Musician of the Year. And also she was part of, obviously, The Golden Life, which is coming to E! so soon. So excited for that.

That was presented by Tri-State Cadillac. It's kind of like our Lifetime Achievement Award. And we honored it to the cast of The Golden Life. So it was Ramona, Sonya, Luan, Kelly, Dorinda. Love all of them. And seeing them, people were like, shook.

SPEAKER_5 (2:21)

We're so excited and honored. And thank you, Danny and Evan. We are just blessed to be up on stage altogether.

Evan Real (2:30)

It was like seeing Beyonce or like the resurrection of all four Beatles members. It was like, it was wild.

SPEAKER_4 (2:36)

I think some of them are still, yeah.

Evan Real (2:37)

People were going absolutely nuts. And then Sonya went absolutely nuts. And she celebrated her win by flashing Danny.

Danny Murphy (2:44)

Oh, I saw her tits. Yeah, when I was on stage, she just flashed me when I was on stage.

Evan Real (2:49)

Although I enjoyed it.

Danny Murphy (2:50)

I don't know if that's going to be on Philo or not, but yeah.

Evan Real (2:52)

Although I enjoyed it, the gift was for you.

I feel like it was directed at you. It was like there were like laser beams pointing at you. Like she was shining her light on you.

Danny Murphy (3:03)

That was a gift. And then also, Kelsey's man Billy giving me a hug felt like a gift too.

Evan Real (3:08)

I am so jealous by the way.

I saw him from afar. You were crushing. I'm crushing because I have the biggest crush on Billy from Rhode Island Housewives. That is Kelsey's man who she was with while she was also with her sugar daddy who she has since broken up with. Who knows? He has stood the test of time, that sweet little Billy boy, and you got a hug from him.

Danny Murphy (3:28)

I did. Because my feet were hurt at the after party. So I just sat down at the Rhode Island table and I was like, who wants to hug me?
