This is Michael Knowles, host of The Michael Knowles Show. America has cattle, quite a lot of cattle. We have ranchers, we have land, we have an entire cultural mythology built around cowboys. And yet, we're preparing to bring 300,000 metric tons of foreign ground beef into the country without the normal tariff.

Bigger issue for consumers here is that once imported beef reaches the grocery store, you may not even know that that's what you're buying. With good ranchers, you do. Their meat is 100% American sourced from American farms and ranches and delivered directly to your door. No detective work required. It's the best beef you're gonna get. I love it. I just adore the company. It is the main beef that I eat. All of their steaks are magnificent, and their Wagyu burgers are the best you'll ever get.

That's not even getting into their seed oil free chicken nuggets, which are phenomenal. It's not even getting into the beef sticks and the sausages. Anyway, right now, your first order comes with a free four pound bundle of 100% American Angus ground beef. Go to goodranchers.com/wire. That's goodranchers.com/wire to claim your free four pound ground beef bundle. Good Ranchers American meat delivered.

Israel says the attempted hijacking of a FlyDubai jet was indeed a jihadist attack. British officials say they believe the RAF airbase incident was orchestrated by Iran, and Iran's military wing says, don't worry, when they chant death to America, they don't mean it. I'm Georgia Howe with Daily Wire executive editor John Bickley. It's Wednesday, September 30th, and this is Evening Wire.

Israel has confirmed that the attempted hijacking of a plane headed to Tel Aviv was in fact a targeted jihadist terror attack. Foreign affairs reporter Cassia Kiva has the latest.

SPEAKER_5 (2:26)

A terrifying midair attack was thwarted Wednesday after the co-pilot of a Dubai to Tel Aviv flight stabbed the captain and tried to take control of the aircraft. The FlyDubai flight carrying 174 people plunged roughly 17,000 feet in less than two minutes as the attack unfolded. The captain, identified as an Indian national, fought back and managed to open the cockpit door despite being seriously wounded. An Israeli passenger then rushed into the cockpit with a crew member, pulled the attacker away from the controls and helped restrain him. Two off-duty pilots on board ultimately took control and landed the plane safely in Saudi Arabia. Israeli officials have classified the incident as an attempted terror attack. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed the passengers as heroes who prevented a catastrophe. The passengers have since returned safely to Israel.

In similar news, British officials now say Iran is believed to have been involved in the security incident near RAF Fairford, a British airbase used by US forces for operations against Iran. Five British men in their 20s were arrested on Sunday on suspicion of terrorism and explosives offenses after three vehicles were seen moving toward the base, triggering a major incident and the evacuation of dozens of homes. British authorities later found no explosives in the vehicles, though they recovered a quantity of gasoline, and the men were released on strict bail conditions without charges. Prime Minister Andy Burnham said Wednesday that Britain now believes Tehran played a role in the incident, while Iran has categorically denied any involvement.

In a moment that's gone viral, The View co-host Sunny Hostin defended the Tompkins County DA's original decision not to charge seven Cornell fraternity members accused of gang raping a fellow student in 2024

Hostin, a former federal prosecutor, said the woman's original statement to campus police indicated she voluntarily took drugs and alcohol and consented to sexual encounters with several fraternity members. That means she said prosecutors could not establish that she was legally unable to consent under New York law. Take a listen.

Sunny Hostin (4:24)

I think people are reporting this story inaccurately. I think they're reporting it unfairly. And while this is something that we have to take very seriously, there is no way, according to her statement in 2024, that any prosecutor would have brought forth the case.
