I'm Howard Mackler, I spent my career building companies that help businesses solve problems. Now I built Supershore because I think business insurance is broken. Some brokers hand you a policy, collect your commission, and disappear until renewal. Your business runs all year, and so are the gaps and the risks. For companies with 25 or more employees, whether you're the owner, CFO, or HR manager, Supershore is built for you. We're licensed at all 50 states, covering business insurance and employee benefits, with year-round support for you and your team. You can go to supershore.com and use the Find Print Facts tool, which translates your current policy into plain English, so you see what's covered and what's not. The Business Value Calculator helps you estimate what your company is worth, so you know what actually needs protecting. Go to supershore.com. All your policies in one place. Go to supershore.com, that's supershore.com. You can thank me later.

More details emerge on an arrest outside of a Trump golf course, Senate Democrats boycott a hearing on the Muslim Brotherhood, and a 6'3 male dominates women's basketball in France. I'm Georgia Howe with Daily Wire executive editor John Bickley. It's Wednesday, August 5th, and this is Evening Wire.

More details have come to light about the arrest of an armed man outside of President Trump's Southern California golf course on Sunday. Daily Wire contributor Tim Pearce has the latest.
A man was arrested days before President Donald Trump's visit to his Rancho Palace Verde Golf Club after authorities say he repeatedly visited the property, photographed secret service agents during security preparations while wearing an earpiece, and later returned claiming to be a State Department employee assigned to the security detail. Investigators detained 38-year-old Jeanine John Taley after discovering ammunition in his pocket and a loaded 9mm handgun in his truck, which also contained binoculars and a security-style badge. A subsequent search of his home uncovered an illegally modified AR-style rifle, another pistol, body armor, high-capacity magazines, bulky ammunition, radio signal devices, multiple security credentials, and notebooks containing what investigators described as concerning statements. Taley now faces federal charges for possessing an unregistered short-barreled rifle, along with state charges including carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a short-barreled rifle, receiving a large capacity magazine and a separate 2025 robbery case. Officials said they have found no credible threat connected to the president, and Trump's fundraiser proceeded as scheduled.

Abdul El-Sayed won the Democratic nomination for US. Senate in Michigan on Tuesday. El-Sayed's victory marks a major win for the far-left's attempts to dominate the Democratic Party over its moderates in establishment. It's also another sign that the party's shift towards socialism is happening outside of deep blue enclaves such as New York City. Here is some of El-Sayed's election night speech leading up to his win.

I want you to remind them that if we come through this, when we come through this, inshallah, that we'll have taken $70 million on the chin and kept fighting back.

Inshallah is an Arabic term meaning if God wills it from the Islamic faith. And as it happened, El-Sayed edged out the more moderate pick Haley Stevens, despite her support among the Democratic establishment, including Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
El-Sayed ed will face Republican Mike Rogers for the Senate seat in November.
**John Bickley** (3:53)
And the left in the Democratic Party won another battle on Tuesday in Michigan's 7th Congressional District. William Lawrence beat two Democrat rivals and will take on Republican Congressman Tom Barrett in November. Lawrence ran on issues such as socialized health care, taxing the rich and ending the war in Iran. He also has a background in far left activism. He co-founded the Sunrise Movement. It's a youth-centered group that pushed radical policies such as the Green New Deal. It's also described ICE as an occupying army and accused CEOs of murderous business practices.

Senate Democrats are boycotting a hearing today on Muslim Brotherhood networks in the United States. Daily Wire associate producer Justice Bueller has the details.
**SPEAKER_7** (4:35)
The Senate Judiciary Subcommittee hearing, led by Senator Ted Cruz, follows President Trump's designation of several Muslim Brotherhood branches as terrorist organizations. In a joint statement, the Democratic senators accused Republicans of scapegoating Muslims, saying that they had, quote, no intention of indulging in this political creep show.
