Russia appears to have put a new weapon on the battlefield that experts say could have major implications for the future of war. Daily Wire contributor Tim Peirce has more.
Ukrainian analysts say that a Russian drone that killed three civilians in Zaporizhzhia last month was piloted entirely by AI.
AI has been used plenty in the war up to this point, but in drones, it typically isn't in control until the last few hundred yards after a human pilot has already picked the target. The drone that killed three people last month appears to have been trained to target people, propane tanks and other sensitive targets. Moreover, the AI brain inside of it ran on commercially available chips made by Nvidia. The company says it doesn't sell the chips in Russia, but they are widely available on a resale market. Experts say that weapons controlled entirely by AI create obvious concerns about machines killing civilians and taking other steps that violate international rules of war.

Iranian state TV has taken its threats against Barron Trump to a disturbing new level. Airing a three-minute segment that appeared to map out how to track the 20-year-old NYU student and get around his secret service protection detail. The broadcast used AI-generated footage of a hooded hacker hunting for information, mixed with clips of Barron in an Arsenal jersey and playing Xbox, while the narrator referenced a reported $10 million bounty and claimed, quote, many would be willing to collect it.
Also today, Treasury Secretary Scott Besant launched Operation Economic Outcast, calling it an economic D-Day aimed at cutting Iran off from the global economy.

Beginning today, the actions of Treasury and other agencies will tighten the noose and block every potential source of revenue that funds the IRGC and the evil Iranian regime. There will be no minimal breathing space for the regime to rebuild its capacity to inflict terror against America and the world.
Our objective is to sever every economic lifeline that sustains this tyrannical regime until Tehran stands alone. Those who stand with the United States will reap the rewards of our partnership. Those who tether themselves to the Iranian regime should expect to share in the isolation of a withering regime.

President Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney are headed for an all-out trade war after weekend talks collapsed. The US hit roughly $20 billion in Canadian goods with a 50% tariff on Saturday, and Carney promised he'll retaliate dollar for dollar, targeting steel, dairy and electronics. According to Carney, the talks broke down after Trump had, quote, asked too much and offered too little. He also told reporters that the trade war is only happening because, quote, we got attacked. Trump fired back on TruthSocial, writing that Canada wants the benefits of being a state without actually becoming one.
