It's got suspense, mystery, a slightly flat emotional arc, and a shocking twist where you realize you've been overpaying the entire time. Fortunately though, Mint's story is better. The US and Saudi Arabia announce a nuclear partnership. Thousands of non-citizens were discovered on the voter rolls in New Jersey due to a software glitch. And Elon Musk promises a non-woke adaptation of The Odyssey.
I'm Georgia Howe with Daily Wire executive editor John Bickley. It's Wednesday, July 22nd, and this is Evening Wire.

President Trump has announced a nuclear deal with Saudi Arabia. Daily Wire foreign affairs reporter Cassie Akiva has the details.
**Cassie Akiva** (1:30)
The Trump administration is set to sign a landmark civil nuclear cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia to help the kingdom set up a civilian nuclear program. The 30-year agreement would reportedly allow American companies to help develop Saudi Arabia's nuclear energy program, including the potential construction of a uranium enrichment facility under US oversight. The deal comes as Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has repeatedly said the kingdom could pursue a nuclear weapon if Iran develops one, saying in a 2023 interview, If they get one, we have to get one for security reasons and for balancing power in the Middle East. Administration officials argue the agreement gives Washington greater oversight over the kingdom's nuclear ambitions while benefiting American companies.
Critics warn it could weaken nonproliferation standards and potentially lead to more countries in the Middle East seeking a nuclear enrichment program.

A New York school has sparked a fierce debate after purchasing a humanoid robot teacher. Daily Wire lifestyle reporter Lauren Baer has the story.
**Lauren Baer** (2:33)
Salamanca City Central School District bought the robot Sally for $57,590, less than the median annual salary for a New York teacher. The robot will function as a teaching assistant tool starting in September for 11th and 12th grade coding, robotics, and artificial intelligence classes. The robot teacher drew some further attention for its uncanny feminized appearance and for issuing somewhat unsettling statements like this.

While the district superintendent has stated that schools have a responsibility to quote, teach proper use of technology, not simply exclude it. Some parents in the district have pushed back against the AI bot in classrooms.

With Christopher Nolan's Odyssey raking in over $250 million worldwide in its opening weekend, Elon Musk has announced his own adaptation, potentially two of them. Daily Wire associate producer Garrett Van Teem has the details.
**Garrett Van Teem** (3:38)
For weeks now, waves of AI generated Odyssey videos have been flooding social media, mostly in opposition to the casting and narrative choices made by Christopher Nolan. The world's richest man has continually weighed into the public debate, but shocked many today with his post on X. He wrote, quote, Before this year ends, Grok Imagine will make a full length movie of The Odyssey that is historically accurate and true to the art of Homer. A post then went viral for suggesting that instead Musk should give Mel Gibson a hundred million dollars to make an all practical adaptation. The trillionaire responded simply, quote, I'm down.
