Hi, Ryan Reynolds here for Mint Mobile. Are you looking for a beach read this summer? May I suggest your big wireless bill? It's got suspense, mystery, a slightly flat emotional arc and a shocking twist where you realize you've been overpaying the entire time. Fortunately though, Mint's story is better. Every plan, $15 a month, even unlimited. That's it. Happy ending, zero tiers. Give it a try at mintmobile.com/switch.

President Trump floats a $5,000 check for American adults if Republicans keep the House and Senate. Tributes pour in for Charlie Kirk and the Supreme Court disappoints Republicans in Missouri. I'm Daily Wire, Executive Editor John Bickley with Georgia Howe. It's Thursday, September 10th. This is Evening Wire.
Georgia Howe (1:20)
President Trump honored Charlie Kirk last night ahead of the one year anniversary of his assassination, which lands today.
Donald Trump (1:27)
Exactly one year ago tomorrow, a far left extremist assassinated my great friend and conservative voice, Charlie Kirk, because Charlie Kirk spoke the truth.
What shocked millions of American was not only the fact that Charlie was murdered as bad as it was, but also how many people made an excuse for it or cheered for it. They were cheering some people, sick people. For a brief moment, the mask came off the radical left and you saw what they were really only all about. And now those same people are trying to get power over you in this election. And they are all voting Democrat. Okay, they're all voting every one of them. And you can't let it happen. We will not let them win. And in Charlie's honor, I just want to say we love you, Charlie. And Eric is here someplace.
Georgia Howe (2:28)
Memorials will take place throughout the day at Utah Valley University in remembrance of Charlie.
John Bickley (2:34)
President Trump is promising every American adult a $5,000 check if Republicans keep control of Congress following the midterm elections in November. Speaking Wednesday at the Republican Midterm Convention in Dallas, the president said the payment would be called the Trump dividend, with the only condition being that recipients have to spend the money in the US. The president did not offer many details on how he'd cover the $1.2 trillion price tag or get it through a Republican-led Congress. Vice President JD. Vance defended the plan on Fox News, pointing to revenue from the administration's high tariffs as potentially offsetting the payment.
Georgia Howe (3:09)
Democrat Senator John Federman shocked the nation by making a surprise video appearance at the Republican National Convention last night. The Democrat appeared to introduce and endorse fellow Pennsylvania Senator Dave McCormick. Forgoing party orthodoxy, Federman delivered a fiery, unity-first endorsement for his Republican counterpart.
John Fetterman (3:28)
Yes, I'm a Democrat. Why am I here talking to you today?
Because, well, I'm a common-sense Democrat. I'm always going to stand with America. I'm always going to reject the extremes and socialism. Dave McCormick is the kind of senator that gets the job done. And he's going to fight for Pennsylvania. I'm proud to count him as my friend. So for everybody in Dallas, I'm here to introduce Dave McCormick.
Georgia Howe (3:57)
Fetterman has faced stiff backlash from his party in recent years for cooperating across party lines, despite voting with Democrats nearly 90% of the time.
John Bickley (4:06)
The surrogate mother who refused a California couple's demand to abort a baby after he was diagnosed with a heart defect is taking her extraordinary custody battle to the US. Supreme Court. Culture reporter Megan Basham has the latest.
SPEAKER_7 (4:19)
McKenna West, an Alaska nurse who carried and gave birth to the baby in Texas, filed an emergency application yesterday asking the Supreme Court to block a California ruling recognizing the biological parents, Nausheen Gilcar and Omar Ahmed, as the child's legal parents. West's attorneys have asked Justice Elena Kagan, who oversees urgent matters on the Ninth Circuit, to block the California ruling temporarily.
