Ninety Americans are still missing in Nepal. The jury in the Lindsay Clancy case continues to deliberate, and Russia is now threatening strikes on British targets. I'm Georgia Howe with Daily Wire executive editor John Bickley. It's Friday, August 28th, and this is Evening Wire.

The jury in the Lindsay Clancy case has been dismissed for the weekend after still not reaching a verdict. They've deliberated about 10 hours so far, but now will take the weekend off, returning Monday morning. The 12 jurors have not been sequestered, but have been told that they cannot discuss or read about the case.
A New York teenager and mother are among 90 Americans still missing in Nepal after a catastrophic flash flood, while the death toll has now risen above 540 people. Contributor Tim Pierce reports.

Helicopters have carried more than 3,000 people to safety so far in Kathmandu and other areas. Local media says that as many as 12,000 people may still be missing, hundreds of them tourists. The Red Cross said today that it estimates that around 90,000 people have likely been impacted by the disaster. A CBS reports that Nepal police issued a new alert today after receiving information that a dam on the Tibetan side of the border had burst. Rescue and relief workers were told to stay on high alert and immediately move to a safe location if necessary. The warning comes amid fears of flooding from an overflowing barrier lake high up on the Chinese side of the Himalayan mountains.

An Obama-appointed judge has halted Trump's mail-in voting rules again. US. District Judge Indira Talwani blocked the Postal Service's fresh rules just days after they were announced, issuing a 14-day temporary restraining order that halts mandatory compliance for the upcoming elections, days before Talwani's ruling. The Supreme Court handed the president a major procedural victory, lifting a previous injunction against his executive order because the states had sued before final rules were issued. The DOJ is expected to appeal Talwani's ruling immediately, setting up yet another potential showdown before the US. Supreme Court.

The son of Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has been linked to a raid on an apartment that ended up with seized guns and ammo. Here's reporter Drew Bergmeier.

**Drew Bergmeier** (2:41)
Police executed a search warrant Tuesday night at a Minneapolis apartment reportedly shared by Omar's adult son and a man arrested earlier that day on a weapons charge. Law enforcement sources told Alpha News that officers recovered firearms and ammunition from the apartment where Omar's son Adnan allegedly lives with 22-year-old Abdul Rahman Tuli Abdi. The Minneapolis police department confirmed that officers arrested Abdi after recovering a firearm while impounding his vehicle following a traffic stop earlier that day.
Officers initially stopped Abdi for driving after his license was canceled and for failing to provide proof of insurance. He was released at the scene, but officers discovered a firearm while impounding his vehicle. Police later arrested him without incident and he was later released.

President Trump honored the four-member Artemis II crew with the Congressional Space Medal of Honor during a ceremony today, which took place at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston. The recipients, NASA astronauts Reed Wiseman, Victor Glover and Christina Koch, along with Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen, completed a 10-day mission around the moon in April, marking humanity's first return to lunar orbit in more than 50 years. During the event, Trump also signed an executive order establishing the US Space Academy. Take a listen.

There is a spirit that we didn't see in this space so much, and now you've really brought it back. And today we're proudly awarding the Congressional Space Medal of Honor to the remarkable crew of Artemis II.
Please join me in congratulating Commander Reed Weisman, Pilot Victor Glover, Mission Specialist Christina Cook, and Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen. Great people. Thank you. Congratulations.

Congress created the Space Medal of Honor in 1969 to recognize astronauts who show exceptionally meritorious service to the nation. And its inaugural recipients in 1978 included Neil Armstrong, John Glenn, and Alan Shepard, among others.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on Thursday defended directing its reporters and editors to stop describing the September 11 attacks as terrorist attacks. The internal memo surfaced ahead of the anniversary of the horrific attack. The CBC told Fox News Digital that the guidance aligns with its policy of not using terms that are politically or emotionally loaded. The left-leaning outlet said, It is the practice of the CBC to exercise extreme caution before using the words terrorist and terrorism. FBI Director Cash Patel responded, saying, Any agency in Canada that doesn't publicly reject this bastardization of history and an insult to the souls lost during our largest terrorist attack in US history will no longer have a friend in this FBI.
