Jelly Roll has filed for divorce from his wife Bunny XO after nearly a decade of marriage. Court records show divorce papers were filed last month in Tennessee. Jelly Roll listed the date of separation as May 9th, citing irreconcilable differences.

So on Mother's Day, we had a little bit of an argument, and in that argument, I was so fed up and so tired that I just looked at him and I said, well, then file the divorce papers. He ended up doing exactly what I told him to do and filing the divorce papers. Was I blindsided and was this divorce mutual?
No, it was not mutual. Even though I told him to file the divorce papers, I was speaking out of anger and just frustration.

After nearly a decade together, it looks like the ride is now over for Jelly Roll and Bunny XO, because he has filed for divorce, shocking fans who've been following and supporting their unconventional love story. So the two met in Las Vegas back in 2015, got married a year later, and in true spur of the moment fashion, spent years being brutally honest about the highs and lows of their marriage, including infidelity, separation, addiction issues, finances, and fertility struggles. Now, despite renewing their vows in 2023, and publicly talking about their future together as recently as this year, the couple is calling it quits. So how does a couple that overcame so much finally decide to end it all? Let's get into it.

All right, Katie. So this is massive, massive news in the divorce world. Jelly Roll and Bunny XO called it quits. He filed for divorce a month ago. We're just learning about it now. But he went to the courthouse in Tennessee and said, we are donezo and it's all been unraveling since then. This is a couple that really gave other couples a lot of hope in true love because they seemed so open and honest about the ups and downs of a relationship and now it's over and it's really, you've described it as you're just really sad.

This is shocking. This has shocked fans. And like you said, they were kind of a beacon of hope in the world of love because they were so honest with us about the relationship. They were honest about their screw ups. They were honest about how hard they worked at this relationship. We could see it at so many awards shows. And a lot of times-

They were radically open about everything. Podcasts about it, interviews. It was central to their story.

And in Hollywood, I feel like we are constantly given, we are spoon-fed what we're supposed to see, right? There's publicists, there's people paint this whole image of what they want their life to look like on social media everywhere. And these guys pulled the curtain back and they're like, hey, he had an affair. I almost didn't get through it. We separated for a while. We did drugs together. We did this. You've watched him lose weight. You've watched their whole journey. And they really seemed, they were to me, the true definition of ride or die.

You're so right. She was absolute ride or die for Jelly Roll. And we don't know all the details of sort of what tore them apart, but we're going to get into how they got together and how this whole thing blossomed and then just came apart all at once. But you're right. The one thing I do want to emphasize is other relationships, they paint a picture of Camelot. Like it's beautiful. And then all of a sudden the rug is pulled out and we have to sort of figure out the pieces of the divorce and why everything sort of fell apart. Here, they were just open throughout ups and downs. It seemed like it was invincible because of that, because they had already dealt with infidelity. They'd already dealt with infertility. All the things that could add strain or tension to a marriage, they seem to have worked through. And now it's over, so everyone is pulling out their hair, saying like, what could have possibly ended Jelly Roll and Bunny XO? But let's go back to the beginning because they met in 2015 This goes way back. Now he had this very checkered pass of prison and so forth, but that was before he met her. When he came out, he was like a renewed man. I'm gonna sort of get my life together. He was an aspiring hip hop artist.
