Welcome back to The TMZ Podcast. I'm your favorite host of all, Kay McCabe, and this is your least favorite.
Kay. We've been going at each other the whole brief for, I mean, all day today. We've been having little sly jokes, but it's all out of love because Aiden has an announcement, but he's going to give it at the end of the podcast.

**Aiden Marks** (0:28)
Mine is out of hate, actually.

**Kay McCabe** (0:29)
Oh my God, Jesus. Okay, so let's get into it. We got some haterade.

**Aiden Marks** (0:35)
Oh.

**Kay McCabe** (0:35)
This first story, if we go talk about haterade, this first story is all about haterade.

**Aiden Marks** (0:40)
Nasty. This is why my mood's so bad.

**Kay McCabe** (0:41)
Talk about it.

**Aiden Marks** (0:42)
Listen, guys, you would never expect this to be the story. So Dolly Parton, she has the Hollywood Walk of Fame star.

**Kay McCabe** (0:49)
As you know, Dolly passed away last week.

**Aiden Marks** (0:52)
So her far, her far, oh my God. So Dolly Parton's star was damaged at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. There's currently repairs underway of the star.
After a fan reported that the memorial was scratched up just a week after her passing, there was a video captured that showed workers working to replace the star after Dolly's name was scratched off. We can't show the exact, like what it exactly looks like, but basically like someone keyed out her entire name. So you couldn't even read that it was Dolly Parton. It was a mess. And she was, the star is like pretty.

**Kay McCabe** (1:28)
But imagine like who was, you know, just maybe just not in their right mind. Yeah. Or just having a bad day that you go to anyone's star, alive or no longer with us, but someone who just passed and such a light in our community. Dolly Parton was such a joy.
I've never even been around her and just watching her on screen. I mean, she just always seemed like she's in a great mood. I'm from Tennessee. Of course, she is the queen of Tennessee.

**Aiden Marks** (1:59)
Oh, she was running things over there.

**Kay McCabe** (2:00)
Oh, yeah. And I'm still running.
And my alma mater, University of Tennessee in Knoxville, actually just announced that they will be wearing her sticker for every football. All the football players will be wearing a sticker on their helmets for I think every single home game or every single game. But yeah, just to go and do this to her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and having now and luckily they came in and are repairing it very quickly, thankfully. But I mean, that is just so it's unfortunate. And really, I mean, honestly, I don't know. I'm sure Aiden's from here. I'm not from here. But I've only been to what is that Hollywood Boulevard? I've only been a few times because it gets crazy over there.

**Aiden Marks** (2:42)
Oh, listen.

**Kay McCabe** (2:43)
It gets a little wild over there.

**Aiden Marks** (2:44)
Oh, yeah. No, I think I went for the first time when I was like maybe 12, because like I really just don't go.

**Kay McCabe** (2:49)
It's a little wild over there. And so I'm like, okay, I can only go at certain hours of the day, first of all, and never on nighttime. But you know, it's really like the whole walk of fame and all the stars, like there's really no protection to them.

**Aiden Marks** (3:03)
There isn't. And especially because since when stars like of this magnitude pass away, I feel like their stars are used as kind of like a memorial.

**Kay McCabe** (3:12)
Yeah, a memorial.

**Aiden Marks** (3:13)
Especially because not everyone can go to Tennessee and pay their respects, how it is like right now.
So like, that's what people are doing. There were like a bunch of like flowers, there was a huge, there was like such pretty pictures of her just put around. That was gone actually too. That was a fan report.

**Kay McCabe** (3:28)
Well, I don't think it can just stay there.

**Aiden Marks** (3:30)
Well, they were like all there, but then that is why people are saying like, oh, they think that potentially someone, like people are claiming that someone could have like knocked it over and just knocked them out of the way for the damages.

**Kay McCabe** (3:41)
Just, you know, unfortunately, in this lifetime, we are always going to have haters, you're gonna have supporters, but my mom always told me you're doing something right if you got haters. So a hater or two ain't the worst thing in the world.
