Diddy Fires Back at Lawsuit Filed by Former Child Actor

So, Diddy, we've been speaking about this lawsuit, or these allegations of sexual assault by a former child actor.
Now Diddy is giving his response. He is firing back completely, denying this, aggressively. Diddy's aggressively denying this lawsuit that claims this person was sexually assaulted by the music mogul when he was a minor. Through the spokesperson, Judah Engelmeyer, Diddy responded to the allegations, stating, this is a lie and completely made up. Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone. They went further and said, these allegations will be disproven like all of the rest. He is going to pursue all avenues he can to defend himself and make sure those who start and spread lies are held responsible. There's also a source close to Diddy that clarified legal action is being considered and it would be directed at accusers and those spreading the allegations. This person has not been identified either.

Yeah, they're following as John Doe.

John Doe, and he was a working child actor when he attended a Hollywood party in 2007 And Diddy had allegedly invited him to speak privately about potential career opportunities. The lawsuit alleges that Diddy inappropriately touched him, performed oral sex on him while he was still a minor. And the plaintiff says he left the party in shock and is now seeking unspecified damages. And the lawsuit also named several agents, claiming that they had a responsibility to protect him and failed to do so.
So it's all gonna come down to evidence.

And I know that that there have been there has been an investigation going on into these claims into these accusations. But how long is the statute of limitations when it comes to sexual assault in California?

I am not sure on.

So it looks like depends on if you're filing a civil suit or a criminal suit. So this, it looks like is civil because they're seeking unspecified damages.

So I believe that there is no statute.

Yeah, I don't think there is.

Yeah. Survivors can file a lawsuit at any time, regardless of when the abuse had occurred under CCP 340.1. Wow.

So when does Diddy get out? We were looking up before that. He gets out in a couple or a couple of years.

April of 2028

Yeah. So we'll see.

April of 2028 And there are so many lawsuits. Gosh, when the main indictment was all going on and everything, and it felt like every day there was three, four new lawsuits. And I'm trying to reme- Oh, Tony Busby. Tony Busby was the one that was behind a lot of these and bringing them forth. He was sending out demand letters and everything, saying, allegedly, hey, I have this information on you. And letting celebrities know that these were celebrities that were named in some of these lawsuits.
And in some of these lawsuits, they would name them as, like, celebrity A, celebrity B. And he said and told TMZ, this is a while ago, that he would let the celebrities know early, I have this information on you, you can pay up this amount of money, settle with me, and your name will not be included in the lawsuit. And unclear, you know, who those people were, celebrity A, celebrity B. But this is just one of many lawsuits. Like I said, this is John Doe, a former child actor.
They don't want to be identified. But that could change at any moment. Diddy could request that they're identified to be able to investigate it further on their end and prepare a better defense, which he has said exactly the same thing before, asking that the celebrities be named inside the lawsuits. That way that he can accurately investigate and prepare a defense.
