It's Tuesday, October 13th, 2026 I'm Bryan Ibbott. Here are your music headlines for today. Fontaine's DC teamed up with Rosalía for a sweeping new collaboration called Where Is Gone, ahead of their upcoming album, Dopamine Chamber. The band called her a kindred spirit in keeping musical traditions alive, and it's their first ever guest feature on a song. They're also putting out a limited edition seven inch for the collab. It's a striking pairing of two very different artists finding common ground.

Grimes announced a new album, Psyopera, built around an AI apocalypse concept and shared the first single, Accelerando. She's described it as pseudo-religious and said getting canceled in recent years actually freed her creatively. It's a return to the darker, more experimental territory she's known for. No release date for the full album has been confirmed yet.

Zach Bryan revealed the track list for his new EP, Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs, confirming guest appearances from Lana Del Rey and Turnpike Troubadours. It's due out this Friday. The pairing of Bryan's rootsy songwriting with Lana Del Rey is turning heads given how different their usual lanes are. Bands are already speculating about which tracks they'll appear on.

Anthrax's Frank Bello says the band would jump at the chance to do more Big Four shows alongside Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. He credited James Hetfield specifically for organizing the last round, saying quote, they didn't have to do that. Thrash fans have been clamoring for a reunion run for years. Nothing's officially on the books yet, but Bello's comments have reignited the conversation.

Pearl Jam's Mike McCready says the band probably won't be playing the Sphere in Las Vegas any time soon, joking that they're quote, kind of cheap when it comes to the kind of production budget or residency there requires. He said he personally would be up for it, but isn't sure the rest of the band is sold. McCready made the comments as a guest DJ on Watch What Happens Live. For now, Pearl Jam's live plans remain Sphere free.

Journey drummer Deen Castronovo returned to the stage in San Antonio and played a full show just two nights after a medical emergency cut short their Tulsa concert. Bandmate Neil Sean said he's back in rare form. The band hasn't shared further details about what caused the scare. Fans at the San Antonio show said he looked strong behind the kit all night.

And finally, Instagram had to issue an apology this week after users noticed the platform's algorithm was recommending Creed's hire to an unusual number of people for seemingly no reason at all. The company confirmed it was a glitch and said they're working on it. It's turned into a running joke across the platform in the meantime, with people posting their own baffled recommendation screenshots. Somewhere, Creed is just happy to be trending again. And it's Tuesday. It's time for our top five The Billboard 200 albums chart. Number five, The Great Divide by Noah Kahan. Number four, I'm the Problem by Morgan Wallen. Number three, Dandelion by Ella Langley. Number two, You Seem Pretty Sad for A Girl So In Love by Olivia Rodrigo. And taking the top spot once again. Number one, The Life of a Showgirl by Taylor Swift. Want to be the first to hear about future live streams, discuss the latest news, talk about music, and help shape the future of the show?
