A US federal appeals court overturned 2 Live Crew's victory to reclaim copyrights to their catalog, ruling that the group's termination notice was ineffective due to one member's bankruptcy. The court found that the bankruptcy swept the member's termination interest into the bankruptcy estate, leaving the group with only two signatures, one short of the required majority. This decision reverses the 2024 jury verdict and sends the case back for further proceedings.
KISS will release a book titled KISS Destroyer The Definitive Visual History on October 27th.
