Justin Bieber has released his full Weekend 1 Coachella 2026 performance as SWAG Live from Coachella, Weekend 1, premiering the project on his YouTube channel and making it available on most streaming platforms. The announcement was teased through a series of billboards in cities, including New York, London, and Sydney, echoing the marketing campaign used for SWAG and SWAG 2 albums. Jay-Z is set to tell his story in a new eight-part HBO documentary series, Jay-Z In 8, directed by Rick Rubin. The series will feature in-depth conversations between Rubin and Jay-Z about his music, lyrics, life experiences, and creative process, with the pair reflecting on topics including how adversity and pain have shaped his career. Olivia Rodrigo is joining Fortnite as a non-playable character, with players able to interact with her in-game and purchase themed cosmetics inspired by the pop star. David Clayton-Thomas, the powerful lead voice behind Blood, Sweat & Tears' best-known era, has died at the age of 84 According to his publicist, he died peacefully in a Toronto hospital on June 24, though no cause of death was disclosed. Clayton-Thomas helped propel the band to international success with songs such as Spinning Wheel, and When I Die, and You've Made Me So Very Happy, while helping define the jazz rock sound of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Morrissey has publicly criticized an upcoming BBC documentary about the Smiths, claiming it portrays him negatively while favoring his former bandmate, Johnny Marr. He said he was not invited to participate in the production and accused Marr of shaping the band's history in a way that cast himself as the hero while blaming Morrissey for the group's breakup. Morrissey also argued that his contributions to the Smiths have been overlooked and that Marr has damaged the band's legacy by dividing fans into opposing camps. Lionel Richie was forced to cut short the opening night of his Sing a Song All Night Long tour in St. Paul, Minnesota after becoming dizzy during his performance of Dancing on the Ceiling. The 77-year-old singer briefly continued the show while seated and later performed three times a lady at the piano but ultimately could not return to the stage. Richie was reportedly taken to a hospital as a precaution. Don Toliver has announced the Nitrous Tour, a new leg of his ongoing Octane World Tour that will take him across North America, the UK, and Europe later this year. The expanded run follows a sold out first leg and will feature 19 additional arena dates, beginning in Sacramento in August before heading overseas in October and concluding at London's O2 Arena in November. Tickets go on sale this week with various pre-sales available ahead of the general sale. AI music company Suno has launched Spark, a new incubator program designed to support independent artists with grants, mentorship, marketing assistance, and music distribution opportunities. The initiative aims to help emerging musicians grow their careers while exploring how artists can use AI tools as part of their creative process, and it arrives shortly after Suno's major funding round.
