Bonnie Tyler, the Welsh singer known for her hit, Total Eclipse of the Heart, passed away at 75 She achieved commercial success in the 1980s with hits like. It's a Heartache and Holding Out for a Hero. Tyler's career spanned over four decades with her last album released in 2024 Justin Bieber and Burna Boy will perform at the inaugural World Cup final halftime show on July 19th, joining Shakira, Madonna, and BTS. BTS member J-Hope hinted at a potential new song for the event during a live stream sparking excitement among fans. The show, produced by Global Citizen and selected by Chris Martin, aims to replicate the cultural success of the Super Bowl halftime show. The 11-minute performance will feature a diverse lineup of pop, Latin, Korean, R&B, and Afrobeats music. The Backstreet Boys will headline the official F1 after party at the Sphere in Las Vegas on November 21, 2026 following the Formula One Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix. The event will feature the iconic group performing at the eye-popping venue, offering fans a unique race weekend experience. Ariana Grande shared an alternate picture disc and two song snippets from her upcoming album Petal on Instagram. The album, set for release on July 31, follows her 2022 album Eternal Sunshine.
Alabama Shakes announced their first album in over a decade, I Must Be Dreaming, set for release on August 28 The album, produced by Shawn Everett, follows their 2015 release Sound & Color. The band is currently on tour in Europe and will return to North America later this month.
Neil Young's upcoming album, Second Song, will feature new recordings of two songs he wrote as a teenager, I'll Love You Forever and Casting Me Away From You. He revisited these songs while recording new material in Malibu, finding that they complemented the new songs well. Young had initially planned a European tour with Elvis Costello, but canceled it for a break.
