Ariana Grande is suing unnamed hackers for repeatedly stealing and leaking her unreleased music, photos, and video footage. The lawsuit claims the hackers have targeted her photographers and producers, resulting in hundreds of leaks since 2011 Grande is seeking to unmask the hackers and hold them accountable for their actions.
Slayyyter announced her new single, Brand New Chanel's, will be released on July 31st after debuting it during the opening night of her WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD Tour. The song was one of four unreleased tracks performed, sparking speculation about a potential new album. The tour, which includes festival appearances, runs through November 5th. Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan released a live video for their duet Songs About Us, filmed during their first ever performance together at Sanford Stadium. The video features footage from the concert and behind the scenes moments. The song, the title track on Aldean's 12th studio album, resonates with both artists as it reflects on the impact of their music on their fans' lives. A New Zealand metal show featuring Devilskin was disrupted when somebody defecated in the mosh pit, causing a mess and prompting a pause in the concert for cleanup. The incident described as quote, a huge mess, led to vomiting among attendees and a temporary halt in the show. The concert resumed after the area was cleaned. Abbey Road Reframed, a new photography exhibition, explores almost a century of music history through the lens of the iconic Abbey Road recording studio. The exhibition features photographs of legendary musicians, iconic recording equipment, and never before seen items from the Abbey Road collection. It will be on display at London's Iconic Images Gallery from August 11th through 22nd. Ella Langley's Choosin Texas has tied Harry Styles as it was, with a 15-week run atop the Billboard Hot 100, making it the longest-reigning non-holiday song by a woman. Langley is now in a strong position to surpass other records, including Morgan Wallen's Last Night and Lil Nas X's Old Town Road. However, she faces competition from Taylor Swift's I Knew It, I Knew You and Stella Lefty's Boston. A Yamaha Cs-80 claimed to have belonged to Vangelis and used on his 1977 album Spiral is listed for sale on Reverb for £400,000. The seller claims it's Vangelis' first Cs-80 and is in excellent condition, though there is no evidence provided to support these claims. If genuine, this would be a highly sought-after collector's item, potentially fetching a record price for a celebrity-owned synth.
Emomath rock band Daydream Plus released an 8-bit chiptune remix of their debut album Second Last Day of Summer exclusively on a Nintendo cartridge. The band aims to counteract the trend of digital music consumption and promote the value of physical media. The NES release, titled Extended Forecast, was a challenging endeavor for guitarist Peyton Power who spent countless hours reprogramming the music using 8-bit tracker software.
And finally, Sheri Moon Zombie released her debut single and music video I Love My Robot produced by Chris Zeus Harris and directed by Rob Zombie. The song, available for pre-order on a limited edition 12-inch picture disc, celebrates individuality and creativity in a technology-driven world. The release coincides with Rob Zombie's North American tour with Marilyn Manson.
