System of a. Down and Faith No More will tour Australia and New Zealand in January and February, 2027, marking System of a Down's first Australian date since 2012 The tour includes shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Wellington, with tickets going on sale July 31st. Jennie's new solo single, Less Than a Lover, topped Billboard's new music poll with over 62% of the vote. The release was accompanied by a music video that she co-wrote. The song is Jennie's latest release since Dracula, her collaboration with Tame Impala. Charli XCX released a digital deluxe version of her album, Music, Fashion, Film on iTunes, including three previously unreleased B-side tracks. The B-sides, previously shared on her Instagram and included in physical releases, are now available for download for $4.99. Charli explained that she initially did not plan to release the B-sides on streaming platforms, but decided to do so due to fan demand. Gracie Abrams earns her first number one album on the Billboard 200 with Daughter From Hell, debuting with 124,000 equivalent album units. The album's success is driven by strong album sales and streaming, with a significant boost from its vinyl release and promotional activities. BTS Arirang also re-enters the top 10 following a vinyl release and promotional performances.
Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong announced two new signature gear releases, a limited edition Radiant Red Epiphone Billie Joe Armstrong Les Paul Junior guitar and a Marshall Artist Signature amplifier. Both products reflect Armstrong's iconic guitar tone, with the guitar featuring a simple setup and the amp incorporating a custom Dukey Mod. These releases coincide with Green Day's upcoming soundtrack for the film Nimrods and Armstrong's ongoing performances with his cover band, The Cover-Ups. Country artist Bell released Son of Jolene, a sequel to Dolly Parton's classic song Jolene, featuring Parton's vocals. The song explores the fate of Jolene and the narrator's relationship expanding on the original story. This collaboration highlights the enduring power of country music storytelling. Reba McEntire released The Ain't Gonna Keep It Waitin EP, featuring a new title track and fan favorites from her career. The EP is the third installment in her 2026 music capitol series, following the EP's One Night in Tulsa and Hurt Like That. Accused murderer David's Apple Music account was hacked, and a fake song titled I Did It was released. The song, which mimics David's style and mentions Celeste Rivas Hernandez, went viral despite being removed. David is currently awaiting trial for her murder.
Michael Stipe released a new song, Hum Desiderata, exclusively through Joyfully Waiting. The track combines a recording of Stipe reciting Desiderata with an instrumental from his upcoming solo album, featuring vocals from Elizabeth Hatmaker. This release follows Stipe's announcement of his debut solo album and his recent theme song for the Apple TV series Rooster.
And finally, Ministry, led by Al Jorgensen, announced their final album, Hate to Go Take Out or Delivery, set for release on October 30th. The album, featuring collaborations with Paul Barker and others, marks the end of the industrial era for the band. Jorgensen announced a farewell tour in 2027 And it's Monday, let's take a look at the top five singles on the Billboard 100 chart. Number five, Dracula by Tame Impala and Jennie. Number four, Hate That I Made You Love Me by Ariana Grande. Number three, Be Her by Ella Langley. Number two, I Knew What I Knew You by Taylor Swift.
