Bad Bunny leads Billboard's monthly touring report for a record extending 10th time, underscoring the extraordinary commercial scale of his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour. The report arrives as the tour concludes, reinforcing his status as one of live music's most consistently dominant draws. It places his latest run with a broader streak of touring success that has repeatedly put him atop Billboard's Boxscore rankings. Unidos por Venezuela is a benefit concert and nationally televised telethon scheduled for August 16th at Miami's Kaseya Center to aid communities affected by Venezuela's recent earthquakes. Marc Anthony, Ricardo Montaner, Feid, Jay Wheeler, Elena Rose, Silvestre Dangond, Gente de Zona, Mau y Ricky, Olga Tañón, and others are confirmed to perform with more artists expected. Proceeds will support humanitarian relief and long-term recovery efforts, including food, medical care, temporary shelter, housing, mental health services, schools, and infrastructure. John Mayer has donated more than $5 million to scientific research on veterans' mental health and reintegration through his Heart and Armor Foundation. Founded in 2019, the non-profit supports research into PTSD, sleep problems, trauma affecting women veterans, and barriers to mental health treatment. Its work has helped secure more than $16 million in federal grants and earned Mayer recognition as Philanthropist of the Year at the Social Impact Summit. Travis Scott says he is making a new album intended to push his sound beyond anything he has released before, following 2023's Utopia. He cites a broad mix of influences, including Oasis, Van Halen, Parliament, Don Toliver, Raphael Saadiq, and Daft Punk, with Van Halen's mega choruses and hard bass lines, especially informing the project. Scott also wants the music and its eventual live presentation to connect equally with fans throughout stadiums as he moves towards a more theatrical concert experience. Fuji Rock Festival 2026 takes place this weekend, July 24th through the 26th, at Naeba Ski Resort in Japan, with Amazon live streaming selected performances free to all account holders, including non-Prime members. Viewers can watch through Twitch, Prime Video, or the Amazon Music app across three channels. In the Americas, coverage began Thursday night because of the time difference. The schedule includes headline sets from the XX, Khruangbin, and Mitski, alongside Turnstile, Toro y Moi, Arlo Parks, Mogwai, Kneecap, American Football, and many more. The previously unreleased George Michael the Faith Tour concert film documenting two 1988 Paris shows from his first solo tour, has secured distribution for a late 2026 theatrical release. Bleecker Street's Crosswalk will handle the North American release, including early access IMX screenings, while Universal Pictures' content group will distribute it internationally. Directed by longtime collaborators Andy Morahan and David Austin, the restored film draws on never-before-seen 35-millimeter footage captured with 14 cameras. The Beach Boys have canceled or postponed nearly 30 North American summer shows scheduled from July 23rd through September 3rd, including several state fair appearances. The Mike Love-led touring group said it was taking a short break to recharge without disclosing a more specific reason. Some dates have already been rescheduled while others have been canceled outright. The group is currently set to resume performing in late September. YouTube generated $11 billion in advertising revenue during Alphabet's second quarter of 2026, a 13% year-over-year increase that exceeded analyst expectations. The performance contributed to Alphabet's almost $120 billion in quarterly revenue, up 24% from the prior year as digital advertising and cloud services continued to grow. While ad sales remain strong, Alphabet says YouTube subscription business is growing even faster, driven particularly by YouTube Music and Premium. And it's Friday.
